Little hiccup on delivery to FFL. My FFL went out of business. Contacted Buds and they were Jonny on the spot! Fixed the problem with just one phone call. Fast, professional and friendly. Not there problem but they put the customer first. Love doing business with these guys. Why I keep coming back. Makes about 8 orders so far and every order seems better than the last. Hard to improve on perfection but Buds just wants you to have the best customer experience you can.

Easiest pistol to shoot and stays on target ... least expensive pistol I own but a favorite of mine... no jams.

My purchase came with 2- 15 round mags which I was not expecting. I also purchased a 10 round to reduce printing under my shirt. Everyone has an opinion about 380, and considering this one is nearly the size of a full sized 9mm they may have some good arguing points but... I will say I find myself walking out of the house with this one quite often. Another quality product from Ruger and quality buying experience from Buds.

This is a great gun, plenty of mag space and very user friendly. The .380 has plenty of power and is my edc. Highly recommend this semi auto and of course Bud's Guns!

My wife really likes the lower recoil and easy follow-up shots. The factory trigger is good. Accepts a Micro Red Dot well, and is well balanced. 4 Stars

Not a bad gun. The trigger is the only thing I don't care for. It acts like a single action, I wish it were a striker fired pistol. I own 3 Rugers, in all I love there products and quality. The 380 is about the same size as the SR9C if that helps.

I bought this Ruger for carry purpose. Its small enough for easy carry. Another reason I like it because it holds 16 + 1 rounds. Heaven forbid If I ever have to use it I don't want to run out of ammo. being older I don't have much power in my hands anymore so the fact that its so easy to rack the slide is a big plus. Its a great gun.

The Ruger Security 380 is a very nice pistol, especially for the price. I got it on sale, Bud's daily special $269! Everything went smooth as silk with Bud's as usual. You need to realize, this is a 15 round double stack pistol, so it's not tiny. It also comes with a 10 round magazine, but it's not the smallest .380 that Ruger makes. If you plan on carrying it in a pocket, better have BIG pockets. I have BIG hands, so I expected it to be on the larger size. The slide is very easy to rack, as advertised. The front sight is nice and bright. Although I haven't been to the range yet, I anticipate good results, although I'm aware .380 pistols can be finicky with different types of ammo. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of this pistol and with my latest Bud's experience!

This is a nice looking pistol and it came with a 15 round magazine. A great deal for $300! (I think they’re even cheaper now.) I’m a big guy and have large hands. Normally, I shoot full-sized pistols but with the right grip with my support hand, I’m lights out with this little Ruger! I like this .380 so much it’s my every day carry! (At least for now, will probably switch it up down the road.)

this is a great little 380, east to carry around and practically no recoil and easy to rack . all reviews say this pistol doesnt like fiocchi ammo ! i cant say for sure cuz i listen to reviews and havent even tried

this is one of my best EDC pistols, I have never had a FTF or FTE or light primer strike. Also! Shot placement is spot on due to the very light recoil and follow up shots are easy to run.

Great gun, haven't had the chance to take it to the range but it feels good in my hand and is high quality. Fast shipment from Buds and I'll definitely be buying from them again. Great prices.

I bought this Security .380 because of the Lite Rack slide. I thought I might use it someday when teaching my concealed carry classes. First class I taught after buying the Ruger, I had a woman in her seventies who could not rack a Glock 43x slide. I asked her to try the Security .380 and she had no problem, qualified with it, and left the class with a smile on her face. Absolutely worth buying in my book. Some guns are just more fun than others. This one is special... I received it seven days after ordering from Buds and it was well worth the wait. It feels wonderfully comfortable in my hands and soooo easy to rack. This sweet Ruger Security-380 ACP and my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 EZ are my go-to firearms for concealed carry. At 76 YOA, arthritis and Dupuytren's Contracture have forced their unmerited entry into my life, and until now, interrupted my days at the range with knuckle and hand pain. This Ruger: however, is so Dawgone easy to rack and fun to shoot that I find myself at home walking to the safe and taking it out just to wipe it down and hold it for a while. As a .380, it is a bit heavier than my Kimber Micro and the Browning Black Label Medallion, but pleasingly so... It fits easily in my ankle holster and thus has become a routine carrier. Thanks to Buds for another great purchase!!

I’ve only had the Ruger Security .380 for a short time but I’ve found it to be a very fine pistol. Hefty enough for a good grip, easy to rack the slide, smooth in operation and not finicky about the ammo I’ve used. I recommend it and Bud’s Guns without reservation. Bud’s Guns delivers… price, time of delivery, ease of ordering.

At first I was pretty disappointed with this gun. First range time, I had several failures to feed with 95 grain Winchester flat nose fmj. Put about 200 rounds through it. Cleaned it, back to the range. It started working fine with the Winchester. As others have noted, it does not like Fiocchi at all. It fed a variety of SD ammo, gold dots, XTPs etc. There are several great attributes. It is Very Easy to rack the slide. I’m 71 and my hands are getting old and have a tougher time manipulating some pistol’s slides(Glock 42.). I also have an 380 EZ. This Ruger is as EZ if not more. The plus of this Ruger is the magazine capacity. Ten plus one and 15 plus one vs 8 plus one on the Smith. Also, the factory sights are a nice hi-viz green front. And as usual, Ruger comes in with a bargain basement price, I worried about carry because it was thicker than the 380 EZ but it works great. As light as the Smith, no noticeable difference in concealability. I do really like this gun and recommend it for those with compromised hand strength. For me, the only real issue is the safety of the Ruger vs the grip safety of the 380 EZ. The latter is truly a passive safety. It blocks the trigger until you hold the gun which releases the safety. The Ruger has a manual thumb safety that works great, but I’m not used to operating it. I’ll have to wait until I practice a LOT with a thumb safety before I start carrying it. Both the 380 EZ and Security 380 are great guns.
