The accuracy is extremely fine. I noticed I was within 5 inches at 10 yards. Not bad for an old guy

I was very happy with the functionality and accuracy of this 1911 right out of the box. The fit and finish was almost perfect. I’ve put about 300 rds through it so far mixed ammo and zero malfunctions. I will be doing a lot of shooting with this gun. I would recommend this to anyone easy to shoot hardly any recoil at all gets right back on target with little effort. I will be buying RIA .45 acp next.

This is a quality, no-frills 1911. if you disassemble, clean & lightly polish the internals before firing & carrying, you will have a reliable firearm with no issues.

Great deal for the price! Ordered on a Friday and it arrived to my FFL on Monday afternoon, quick and painless shipping for free. 200 rounds with no issues using Winchester white box 9mm. No scratches or blemishes anywhere, inside and out. It only comes with ONE factory magazine, recommend ordering a few extras of a better quality so you have them when it shows up. The pistol comes in a nice pouch inside a cardboard box, nothing fancy. Would recommend stripping it and removing all the factory lube and replacing it with the lube of choice before taking it out. It isn't the best 1911 ever but if you just want one without breaking the bank, this is the one. Its fun, cheap, looks good.

I love 1911s. Especially in its 45acp inception. So naturally, why wouldn't I want one in 9mm ? Having many pistols in 9mm I didn't want to break the bank choosing one. Being somewhat familiar with RIA, this was my choice from a myriad of 9s. Although a basic model, I find little "basic" in it's performance and build quality. Tight tolerances and smooth operations,at a competitive price, as I've come to expect from the brand. And I absolutely love the grips,one thing that I usually change on a 1911,not so here.It feels great in hand.The black finish is a nice touch also. And the usual Buds shopping experience tops off a great purchase.

The online buying experience was great without ambiguity. It was clearly explained more than once that it will take 5 business days for the funds to clear and it will ship "after" fund clearance. Once funds were cleared, the shipping was 2 day air, so good deal overall. As to the gun, $326 for a RIA M1911 A1 FS itself is a good deal, the finish on mine was good without any sharp edges or protruding areas that can scratch. Shot fine out of the box, I put 100 rounds through it the first day at FFL store/range. Gun shoots smooth....it is a 1911, so requires cleaning blah blah. Overall, great value for money and good buying experience.
