Stock was loose when I got it tightened it up felt solid I ran 10 rounds through it and found multiple cracks in it contacted Rossi customer support they were very helpful it’s taken to weeks to get a new stock. Other than the cracked stock the action is smooth.

Another seamless transaction with Bud's. Rifle is all I expected. Fit and finish is good, nice trigger, shoots well.

Great firearm. There were a few screws loose when it got to me but that is to be expected, after I tightened them up I've had no further problems.

Excellent big-bore workhorse that may end up in Alaska when the time comes. Well-made, functional, dependable rifle that reminds me of a quality half-priced Marlin. Ammo is pricey!

I’ve had a Marlin 45-70 Guide rifle. It was a great rifle but this Rossi 45-70 has remarkable quality. I bought it as a replacement and I have not been disappointed. Best of all, it is hundreds of dollars less.

Nice looking rifle and the fit and finish was very good. I've been shooting my hand loads for this with a 405 grain lead flat point bullet and the accuracy is better then I expected. I'd like to try some lighter 350 and 325 grain and 250 grain bullets. This is a great caliber for most any North American big game. Rossi has really improved their workmanship on their recent lever guns. The only bug in my purchase is the fact they never returned the case from my trade in gun after I had specified that on the trade in form. And it was tagged with my luggage tags. Thanks Bud's. I'm now out $79 and a case that I had for 30 years and traveled all over North America. No excuse for this laziness.

My favorite lever gun yet! I love a good lever gun, and this is a really good lever gun. Plus, it's chambered in 45-70. Smooth action, slick, with a crisp trigger. A blast to shoot. I got the 24" to teach out further, so far 100 yds is a far as I've shot. A great gun, fun to shoot.

Great looking firearm. Lockup is good. Good lever action travel. Good gluing. Really looks like a Marlin clone. At about 1/2 the price. 22 inch barrel will extrude the highest velocities out of the more +P loads. The weight is good thing. Will sight, and test fire the weapon in the spring. Thankful to Braztech/ Rossi/Heritage for the Coupon to receive a Heritage Revolver as a Rebate. Really a Great Puchase, and a Great Company. Thanks BUDS!
