This is a surprisingly nice gun for the money. The fit and finish are excellent and it is very accurate. Unbeatable for the price. Just as good as Springfield armory.

The pistol arrived within a week of purchase, unlike other Girsans, I have purchased, which all came in a very nice blue Girsan case. This one came in a used black plastic case, which was barely big enough to hold the pistol, and the other bits and paperwork that come with it. Not sure what was up with that. The pistol itself seems fine, as I have not shot it yet. This is a heavy pistol, for a commander sized 1911, due to its all steel construction. Since this is not going to be a carry piece, this will not be a problem for me. I have quite a few 1911 magazines, which I tried for fit, and all seemed to lock into the gun just fine, except for one, which is a Colt magazine. The safety did not feel very positive when activated, so I swapped out the plunger spring, and now seems fine. The ergonomics, are not quite the same, as my other 1911s. The trigger guard, seems slightly smaller.

This thing eats anything I feed it, might be my best running 1911 honestly, has had 1 ftf meanwhile my springfield can't make it through one mag lol. Can't beat it for the price I enjoy shooting it and it's a good truck gun.
