It shoots really nice. I'm not really recoil sensitive but I am getting old. I was surprised how much .44 magnum really does recoil. Not painful. Lot of fun. Looks are very pleasing. I put a decorative leather wrap on the stock which flattens the curved buttocks. Nakes it more comfortable. Over all, not sorry I bought it.

WOW, Just a sharp high quality rifle.After clean and lube,took it out to the farm, with it's buck horn sights 50 yards ,all 8 rounds in a red 6"circle.

To be honest I wanted a Henry rifle but couldn't afford one so I bought this one instead. First of all let me say just how beautiful this rifle is! I took it to the range to sight it in and only had to slightly adjust the elevation and it is now dead on! I fitted it with a buffalo hide sling and leather lever loop wrap and this gun is stunningly beautiful. I can't wait to take it hunting this season. If you're considering buying one, don't hesitate, it's a beautiful, great shooting rifle and you will not be disappointed.
