This rifle is well-made. It was a pleasant surprise when I got it for the money you can’t go wrong..

It's the same as a Rossi except the forend wood is closer to the original. New Rossi has fatter forend wood unlike the older ones. This one is stamped "Made in Brazil by CBC" unlike some websites saying made in Georgia by Taurus. This gun is identical to a Rossi R92 I bought around 2012. For those who have never owned one, the blue is good and durable, the wood is nice and fitted okay. The sights are good comparable to Marbles. Both of mine shoot great. The action is fairly smooth but improves a great deal with time. These guns are meant for honest use and for the money vs Winchester you can afford to keep it in the truck. Gouges in the wood and scratches in the blue will only add to its character vs ruining an extremely expensive Winchester. This is the gun you buy for shooting, hauling around in a truck, toating around in the rain, carrying on a side by side or at, or in a saddle scabbard. You won't feel guilty not wiping fingerprints off and forgetting to clean it for a few days. Internet photos don't do these justice you just have to see one. It's not a $1200 Winchester or Marlin but it's value is worth every penny of what you will spend. It's not junk but it's also not Pre 64 New Haven quality either. It's just a reliable, durable favorite wrench kinda gun.
