This is my first lever action rifle and I love it. Purchased the .44 because, why not? I've been to the range a handful of times with this beast and It's a lot of fun to shoot. The look and feel of this firearm are top notch. I'm really glad I made this purchase.

I've wanted a lever action for 25 years and finally decided to treat myself after seeing dozens and dozens of rave reviews of the new Marlin's. Fit and finish is amazing and the lever action is smoothe as silk right out of the box. Could not be happier with the purchase

Out of all the rifles I’ve bought lately, this is BY FAR my favorite. The skinner sights + stainless steel + the short barrel is gonna make one heck of a deer/black bear hunting rifle this season. I can’t wait! This is also my second ruger/marlin and they’ve brought a quality lever action back to the table. If you’re considering this gun, just do it!!! Buds was fast and reasonable on price as usual too!
