FEMALE: Picked up this gun today. Haven't fired it yet...but I love the gun. I have other Kimbers...this is my first micro 9. I HATE the field stripping of this gun. There are two areas that are particularly annoying: 1. the recoil spring - Takes some practice and strength to re-assemble. You need to compress the spring with your hands. I got bloody the first try...newbie mistakes trying to force the spring while trying to compress it. Its sharp. This is BAD. If I had known that I may have opted not to purchase. 2. Depressing the ejector when attaching the slide to the frame - not a great feature...and annoying but not as bad as the spring. For those of you who dont field strip and clean your guns and take them to a gunsmith for cleaning...you can ignore my diatribe. For those of us who like to clean the gun after taking it to the range...beware. Even with the annoyances...I will keep her if she fires with some accuracy and without incident. I am already attached.

My new Kimber Micro 9 is a perfect firearm for my concealed carry needs. It is well built (is of high quality - what you would expect from a Kimber product), fits my hand well, is lightweight, easy to operate, and I love how it looks. The crimson trace grips are really nice! I have showed it to several friends and they plan to purchase one as well. I look forward to spending time at the range with my new firearm.

I have a lot of carry guns but the kimber micro 9mm with laser grips sight and night sights it so light weight carry gun i have and shooting it is a lot of fun kimber is the best on the market great price I have 2 of them

I own a Micro 9 without the laser. I bought this one because I love everything about the one I already have. One was made in NY and the newer in AL. I was surprised the difference in the two. Again the first one (without the laser is just perfect. I use it for my EDC. However the one with the laser has a sticky trigger and a mag release I need one thumb on top of the other to push. Also to push the mag home I have to insert it about 1/2 inch and then bag it hard. If I insert it any less and bang it stops and will not seat. Looks like the mag catches the mag retainer. So with the way those two states are with 2A you would think the better of the two came from AL. But no, the better one is from NY. I'm hoping the mag release and trigger will loosen up as time goes by. Can't see here where to give a star rating so I'm going with 3 stars.

Wow Buds Gun Shop is awesome. I've noticed many reviews making a comment on their service and I didn't understand why because anyone that you buy a gun from should just conduct the transaction and ship the gun but in my case they did much more. I orginally ordered a 2020 shot show version but after the order I noticed that it would take a little while before it would ship out and I wanted to swap it for a different version that would ship out sooner and they did that without any issues at all. They could have charged me a fee or made it difficult but they didn't do any of that. Just swapped it out and I paid the difference and I actually did all of this on my way home from work at 4pm CST on a Tuesday and I had my new gun in my hand shooting it on Thursday. Truly AWESOME! The Kimber Micro 9 with CT laser grip is a AWESOME pocket carry pistol that I am very glad I purchased from Buds. I reccomend this pistol to any other big guy that finds himself leaving his CCW pistol at home because of the inconvience of carrying it because of "Big Guy" problems and this little Kimber Micro 9 makes that a non-issue and it actually packs a lot of punch for such a small package. Very Accurate as well. Much more so that I had assumed it would be. Thanks Buds Gun Shop for being a great Gun store and it will not be the last gun I purchase from you guys.

As always Buds did a great job shipping quick and received in perfect condition. This piece is just beautiful from any angle and performs like a dream. The laser is nice but as one other review said not really needed and you learn that quick. I’m nailing targets at 40 yards groupings of 12” or better straight out of the box. Trigger is crisp and recoil is very manageable. This is a perfect carry weapon and I will be carrying it a lot.

Have you ever seen something that you think you can’t live without? I gotta tell you that I’m a wheel gun guy and the thought of a micro 9mm was the furthest thing from my mind till I saw this. It just had this draw on me I can’t explain. Well after I ordered it I was having some buyers remorse. I was worried about the size of it, I’ve got a pretty good size hand and was thinking that this thing will never fit. I was wrong, actually fits pretty darn good. As far as operation goes it is flawless. I’ve used the laser a few times but I found it really unnecessary. It really impresses the buddies but it’s really just a cool factor as it shoots so well you won’t even need it. If your thinking about it, stop and just get it as you won’t be disappointed

This is my 2nd Kimber. I love this as it is extremely easy for conceal carry. I did experience 2 FTF in first clip. However I have not broke this in yet. I shot 2 more clips and no issues. It is a good piece. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone. Laser seems to be right on at about 50'. I need to take it out and shoot about 200 more rounds through it however. It will easily be my go to carry gun. Fit and finish is excellent, it is almost to pretty to shoot. Buds was excellent to purchase from. I'll give it a 5 star rating.

The Kimber Micro9 is a great CCW weapon. I love the rosewood crimson trace grips. Buds did a great job of delivering it to me.

Very nice piece; my only choice in conceal carry from here out. My first Kimber and I'm very impressed with the performance at the range!

Beautifully made piece of hardware and perfect size pocket piece. Recoil is quite manageable considering the size for a 9mm. Great little shooter. 200 rounds of American Eagle 115 grain no problems. I bought the crimson trace model but being that I have large paws it is kind of a waste because my trigger finger blocks the beam and the on off switch for the laser probably should have been a normal on off switch instead of just a touch switch. Not real pleased with the laser but love the gun. It would be nice if Kimber engineers would do a redesign on the laser grip for those of us with bigger hands. It seems extending the grip end more toward the trigger might solve the issue of blocking the laser beam. Rev I perhaps?

As usual Buds is the best, this little pistol is amazing, very accurate and dependable. Runs well but requires high end ammo, not good with inexpensive bulk ammo. Since this is designed as a carry, back up, self defense, home defense pistol. I give it a 4 because I would only use top shelf ammo I had thoroughly tested in any pistol I depended on for self defense.

Great service from Buds. Gun arrived at my LGS within 5 days of ordering. I've put about 100 rounds of various ammo through it so far. Gun shoots great and fits the hands perfectly. I had one failure to eject, but it was cheap steel case ammunition. I did deduct one star because the point of aim on the iron sights is off about 3 inches to the left at 7 yards, and the only way to adjust the sights is to take it to a gunsmith or purchase an expensive "sight pusher" due to the way kimber mounts their sights.
