I was on the fence about which PCC I wanted and which caliber and decided on the 40 S&W FPC because I have other firearms in that caliber and the mags with fit my M&P40 full size. This thing rocks and is tons of fun to shoot - I added a cheap green dot, handstop/light and sling and I carry it in a discreet laptop bag. The stock mag storage is kind of odd but helpful to have on board; the mag release and ‘slide lock’ could use improvement but I knew that going into this purchase. This is not really a battle rifle but it’s a sweet PCC! It’s only had 2 failures to feed out of probably 500 rounds now (using mostly reloads from the early 2000’s) so I am very impressed. I’m fairly new to shooting and Im able to consistently hit 8” plates within 100 yards all day. So far I highly recommend this if you want something compact but the velocity benefits of a long barrel and pistol caliber and the stability of a rifle.

This is a very nice folding carbine from S&W. I now have all four calibers of this gun and am very pleased with all of them. The 40 cal is very dependable and accurate for a pistol cartridge. Finish on the gun is beautiful. The folding feature makes the gun easy to carry wherever you go. The carry case is awesome and will hold the gun plus red dot sights or whatever feature you want. S&W has done a very nice job on the workmanship on this gun. Try it, you’ll love it!!
