Have almost a thousand rounds on my pistol so far and not one malfunction. Because I live in New York they would not send any magazines with the gun so I had to buy aftermarket 10 round magazines. If buds would have sent the magazines,my gunsmith would have converted the magazines to 10 rounders. Buds gave me no compensation for the magazines withheld. Keep the price of magazines in mind if you live in New York or California. For competition I started with Glocks then CZs then Canik now this Kimber 2K11 which is fast becoming my favorite.

At the moment of this review i have like over half a case of badlands 124g and blazer 115g and not a single issue shooting this firearm. - Grip feels very good, a little sharp out of the box but after 500 rounds the sharp edges have smoothed out and is a pleasure to hold. - fitment of slide to frame is honestly tight enough i was prepared for a break in and nothing you do not hear any movement other than the trigger with a little movement left to right - tag sights are very nice and come with a small kit of fiber to make your own or have replacement rods - the 2 19 round mags feed with zero issue with the time i have on them but are putting sig to shame with how hard it was to load the 18th and 19th round and as of right now has not become easier to load - trigger is light but isn't light enough for me to not carry the pistol - this particular pistol i bought did not come with the mounting screws out of the box for the C&H plate that comes with the pistol and i contacted kimber but with zero response from their support so i went to C&H to just buy the mounting hardware that wasnt in the box
