Bud's was fast and easy to shop with. However the RDB I got slam fires when driving the bolt home more than once. I sent it into KelTec for repair. They replaced nothing and said it was a gas issue. I fail to understand how sending the bolt home from lock would cause a slam fire issue due to the gas system.

I’m very happy with my new Keltec RDB. The trigger is much better than I expected. I’m comparing it to a Steyr AUG which much more expensive. I shot it with 5.56 62 grain without any problems. The bottom ejection left the brass in a small pile making it easy to police brass. It did leave a fair amount of residue on the rounds in the magazine but it did not adversely affect the function. I placed a 1X6 Vortex scope on the rail and a suppressor on the muzzle. Compact and reliable. Time will tell!

Buds, as always, great price, quick delivery. This Kel Tec is a pretty neat rifle. No issues or problems. 500 rounds of break in with no issues. Unlike some other reviews, I have had zero issues with steel GI magazines. Just slap and tap (like your taught)and mine seated perfectly fine. Polymer mags do seat easier though. Accurate enough, great size for vehicle carry.

very light weight, handy, looks to be well made. Plastic is a little light for handguards, but fit is perfect. Easy in and out for magazines. Really good price and quick shipping.

This is a really nice gun, I struggle with spending a lot of money on guns so dropping almost $1000 on this gun was a big deal for me. I really enjoyed taking it to the range. It is a little heaver than I expected but I don't really do marathon range days so it is not a big deal. I ran several different types of ammo through it with no issues. I would definitely recommend it.

Very fun rifle to shoot. Wanted something different than another AR, and liked the RDB better than the Tavor or Hellion. For the price, it’s a great Bullpup!

This is a very fun gun to shoot. My grandson has already claimed this as his gun. At the range it is just a pleasure to shoot and the rear drop of shells into an attached bag is a real nice touch, it will hold two 30 round mags, just open the bottom and dump the spent shells into a container, no picking up the brass.

Very nice gun for home defense. Has a few accessories now for that purpose. Haven’t had any failures to feed, jams, or any problems with the Pmag magazines. Insanely easy to control, low recoil, and just a hoot to shoot. Watch out for that hot brass discharging downward. Failure to protect skin properly, including you feet, could get a bit uncomfortable and a nasty burn. Finding a nice brass catcher would help there.

Definitely a one of a kind rifle. The rifle feels half plastic and half steel, all together in a well placed, tight package. Is lighter and shorter than it looks and comfortable while shooting, with light recoil. Everything works surprisingly good. It does take a bit to get used to considering that most of us are used to the AR platforms. So far it has fired various rounds flawlessly, cheap, expensive, low and high grains. I did notice the the plastic that covers the barrel gets noticeably hot rather quickly, also where your support hand holds the rifle while shooting. It would be a good idea to replace it with a metal piece. Also, I wish Kelt-Tec used a better system to package the firearm. The rifle comes naked within a cardboard box. Not even in a plastic wrap. As a result, is covered in small cardboard particles upon opening. Not a big deal but not a trusting first impression. Nevertheless, the rifle is innovative, well built (so far), fun and inexpensive. Sounds like a winner to me.

I bought the Keltec RDB for the Bullpup size and the ability to shoot .223/5.56 ammo. the AR mags are a I did not want another AR or the hassle of an SBR.
When I received stripped it for inspection, cleaning and lubrication as/manual instructions, I noticed there was no firing pin return spring so I sent an, email to Keltec customer service. Got a reply early next morning was told not to worry as the new bolt design used a free floating firing pin with no spring so all is well. I mounted A cheap Bushnell 4x fixed power scope and out to my make shift range 100 rounds of PMC bronze 55 gr fmj And after Zeroing she scope @ 75 yds. proceeded burn up 60 rounds [2 30 round Hex mags] with 0 FTF Shooting from a wobbly folding table and a cheap optic was shooting 4 in. 5 shot groups. This is one sweet bullpup a little heavy but balanced well, one of the few rifles that my 79 year old body can shoot off hand.
Pros, size, balance, ease of field strip and cleaning And while it digested the ammo I had with no problem it has an adjustable gas valve, price
Cons, several Sharp protrusions [Sling mount's] Trigger is not the best nor the worst but could use a little work, Keltec has had some "iffy" offers in the past but I do believe they have there act together with this one. Time and round count will tell.

1st time rifle buyer here, I bought this while looking through the market for a rifle that wasn't an AR15 and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The rifle itself is extremely easy to disassemble and reassemble. Built to be ambidextrous, the safety can be switched from either side of the grip and the charging handle can be swapped to either side of the rifle to best suit your needs. With the spent casings being ejected downward out of the back of the rifle, you do not have to worry about spitting brass far and wide then hunting down those casing. It makes a pile beneath you.
NOTE: This rifle does NOT come with any sights.
I've only had two issues with the rifle while firing it, specifically it failed to fire with the firing pin barely pricking the bullet. I'm not sure what the cause is but since it has only happened twice as of writing this review.
