I was a little hesitant ordering this, since I've had a negative Taurus experience in the past. This time, I'm not disappointed. It's my first revolver, so it handles very differently from a pistol. The recoil is very direct, yet the weight and the ported barrel absorbs it nicely. Accuracy is top notch; tight grouping and height/windage adjustable sights. The grip is decent; I'll probably replace it with a Hogue Monogrip, but it's low on my list. The only issue I had was when shooting Fiocchi Range Dynamics; on the 6th or 7th shot the hammer would not lock back. I'd have to open the cylinder and realign the chamber for it to lock work again. I haven't had this issue with New Republic ammo, which is what I prefer anyway. 5 stars, the low price makes up for the slight shortcoming.

Really nice shooting revolver. The ports help with recoil and it is easy to keep on target. Have to adjust the rear site as it is a little off.

I first learned of Bug's Gun shop from Hickock45, and as a follower of Hickock I valued his opinion. So I bought The Taurus Tracker .357 in the 4" barrel from Buds Gun shop, Loved it so much I actually purchased the Tracker .357 in the 6.5" barrel as well. The accuracy is spot on, shots at 25yds produced 2" MOA's. The ported barrel really helps keep the barrel down, though I will admit cleaning the ports is a task. I added a Holosun 407c X2 Red Dot and man what a shooter, I'm very impressed with the revolver and the price, Good job Taurus! Bud's Gun shop had it to my FFL within days, it actually showed up the day before the ammo I ordered. Which reminds me, Buds Gun shop had the lowest priced ammo I could find, even locally cost more than Buds with shipping! I highly recommend the Taurus Tracker AND Bud's Gun shop!

Excellent quality revolver. Only accurate guns are interesting, and these 627’s are. Started with the 4” and bought the 6.5” as it was so good. I own a S&W and these shoot just as well at half the price. Pic is shooting 8” plates at 85 yards unsupported.

Thought I'd ever give a review like this. Bud's was great with the shipping etc. The Taurus 627 tracker. 357 magnum, 7 shot,6.5 inch barrel is a dud. Skipped chamber misfires, weak/ firing pin misfires with different ammo. Going to trade for something worth my money!

Was the 357 magnum Tracker used? Because it has been shot many times and the rear sight windage is very loose!!! Garbage Taurus? Or just a lemon?

O.M.G., This revolver is bad to the bone. I feel like alot of the people who buy this gun originally wanted a Coly Python then after waking up from seeing the price they buy either a Tracker 627 or Raging Bull. Great revolver, well built and living it's best gun life.

Just what I was looking for. We'll be going Hog hunting next month. I will let you know. How it shoots and how many hogs I can harvest.

Good gun. Light weight. The grip felt strange and took a little bit to get used to.

This is my fourth firearm purchase from Bud's and as usual it went smoothly from purchase to timely delivery. This is only the second revolver I have owned in my 82 years but of all the firearms I've had I probably enjoy it most from cost to shoot-ability to workmanship. If I had believed all of the badmouthing on the different forums I would have never considered purchasing it. It will be used for target shooting as well as home protection along with my GX4.

I got this gun yesterday and just took it to the range today and put 50 rounds of 38 special and 50 rounds of 357 mag thru it . Itsa shocker when you put 357 thru it because it don't increase the recoil much from the 38 special ammo. It feels good in my hand is crazy accurate and comfortable to shoot. It was worth what I paid for it. If you want a budget blaster that don't pay you like a S&W or a Ruger this is the revolver for you hands down its also a 7 shot not 6 . The sights are awesome on it out of the box I love it . The shipping got messed up and I got it a day later because of ups . Not buds fault. It also came with the grip with finger groves in it not the grip in the picture but it's very comfortable and unexpected up grade I don't have e buy one now

What a nice piece to add to your collection and looks great in your safe too. Shoots great with both .38 and .357. Taurus is always a good choice.
