Got my taurus 44 mag very quick. Haven't got to shoot it a lot, just to see if it works ok. Everything seems fine. I like doing business with Bud's gun shop. Check out Hickok 45 on youtube. That is how I found this gun store. Very pleased so far.

While I haven't had a chance to get this to the range yet, I am impressed with this revolver. It is meaty and heavy and just what I was looking for in a .44 mag. Looks and feels well made and can't wait to try it out soon. Can't beat the price.

Sweet revolver, heavier than competitors but that is good in my opinion. There is no wrist snap with this revolver I can shoot it all day long. It is dead on out of the box. Definitely wear ear plugs, the fluted barrel and big boom will have your ears ringing for weeks. Over all a very effective weapon and a welcome addition to my collection.

Buds right on time great service, price could've been lower, however we are in a Biden economy. Love the gun haven't fired yet but looking forward to it.

It's a beast. Great price and quality for a .44. A blast to shoot.

For the price it's an excellent pistol. Shoots accurate and recoil isn't to bad. It's a hefty gun. The trigger isn't as good as a smith but your paying 1/3 the price and after it breaks in it will improve some.

I think I got mine for around $500 back a few years. I certainly like it for that price! The porting makes it tolerable with full-house loads. And very loud :) The grip is really not well designed and there's not a whole lot of choices. The Hogue monogrip is far better and ergonomic (yes, it has the back-strap exposed but you're still better off). I wish there was a "Tamer" grip for this, similar to what they make for the Super Redhawk. I also ordered one of those exotic wood grips from Thailand, which didn't fit, so they refunded me. Then I spent many days with a dremel and made it work. I used Birchwood-Casey Tru-Oil to blend in the parts I dremeled off and it looks great now. With the right grip this is a great revolver. It's all steel and feels really solid and tight. The sights are rather too basic, I'd much prefer the little white outline on the rear sight and a red epoxy/resin insert on the front. Instead you get a little red sticker on the front (which hasn't peeled off but who knows when?) and just a matte black rear notch. I think I'd happily pay extra to have sights similar to what you get on Rugers and S&W. But action-wise I can't say that this Taurus feels any worse than the American revolver heavyweights. I've seen people polish these to a fine luster and there's nothing sharper than a shiny stainless revolver but I'm keeping this one glare-free for the woods. Yes, the key lock is dumb but it's easier to overlook on a big sporting revolver for the given price. I won't buy any S&W with locks. If I want a S&W with a lock - I'll get a Taurus, which is exactly what I got here. Do keep in mind that Rossi/Taurus customer service is as bad as non-existent. For the prices you pay it's like picking up a used firearm - if you like it and can live with the price, then you'll be ok. If you expect service and respect like you get from Ruger, you won't find it. The older pre-lock Smiths are like your ferraris or corvettes. The Rugers are your super-duty trucks. And Taurus and Rossi are like a Honda, Toyota or Nissan, depending on your "luck", although I've heard of people that ended up with more of a Kia or Yugo :)

One of the first three weapons that I purchased after getting my FOID card. I have really enjoyed using it at the firing ranges and the only problem that I have with it is that the handle is somewhat thin so that when it recoils, it is focused on a small part of the palm of my hand and there is a little pain. I’m wondering if a more rounded handle would alleviate that.

Another beast of a revolver. Thus far it has been very reliable and it handles the gambit of 44 MAG loads without a problem. It's ported which is added plus for the extremely hot loads. Love shooting it when I can.

I purchased this handgun to replace my super Blackhawk 44 mag. I like the single/double action and easy loading vs single loading. My friend and I both have fired this weapon with accuracy right out of the box. Very pleased.

Put 50 rounds through the gun first day I bought it. Performed like I wanted it to. Heavy trigger on single action. Will improve I’m sure with use. Very fun gun to shoot.
