It’s a good gun the weight of the heavy barrel makes the gun feel like you didn’t even shoot. Clean up is a breeze.

Buds always provides great service and a solid value on their products and this is no different. Have not yet made it to the range with the Mark IV but will remedy that this week.

Great pistol. And it is a great platform for upgrades. I Volquartsen-ed mine but stock it still makes a decent steel challenge pistol.

The grips are not comfortable in my hand and the hammer pull is too stiff. Very pleased with budsgunshop service and delivery.

Fired 200 rounds so far with no problems. Added aftermarket Hogue grip panels for my large hands. Also added a fiber optic front sight for my old eyes. A great range pistol to save me $$ on ammunition. Buds was, as always, super efficient. Five stars for the pistol and five stars for Buds!

great gun! Very accurate and insanely easy to breakdown for cleaning. Feels very sturdy, so I am hoping for a long life. My last two 22 automatics broke after 5000 rounds and 8000 rounds,

This pistol functions very well. The mag release and safety are an improvement from the older model. It has cycled every brand of .22 ammo that I have ran through it.

I really like my Ruger Mark IV. Easy to breakdown and clean. Not picky with, but I usually use 40 grain bullets in my many 22 LR pistols.

Amazing little pistol. Shoots great and love the easy break down and cleaning. But what can I say its a Ruger. Very high quality firearm.

Pistol is great! Well balanced and easy for the grandkids and wife to shoot. Little dissapointed that the description on-line wasn't correct! Pistol was supposed to have 3-dot sights but did not!

Quality gun. Switched out the plastic grips for wood as they were flimsy and cheap looking. Otherwise very happy.

This gun is simply amazing! One thing that I actually wasn’t aware of, is that you can purchase an accurizing kit to upgrade the trigger and other components of the gun to bring in more compelling performance that is delivered by the coveted volquartsen. Definitely going to have to pour in the extra money of that detail later on to put the icing on the cake. Thanks again for another great firearm purchase Buds!

Very well built pistol! Also have the mk iii version. This mk iv version is better than earlier versions due to the simple takedown for cleaning. Previous versions could be very challenging to disassemble and reassemble for some. This version is very easy! Accuracy is excellent! I have used multiple ammo types and it has cycled all! Build quality is excellent, aftermarket parts and accessories are plentiful. Magazines can be finicky. There are easy and simple tuning tricks to minimize mag attitude. I would recommend this pistol to most people looking for .22 caliber fun, hunting, and target shooting. Ammo cost is very affordable and plentiful. The longevity of the weapon will give a lifetime of service! Buy it!

I'm very happy with my purchase. This Ruger Mark IV, 22/45 is a solid gun and it looks and feels great in my hand and is extremely accurate. I've already fired over 600 rounds with zero malfunctions and that's saying something shooting at 22LR. I have always wanted one of these guns and now that I have one, I'm so very satisfied.

FIRST .....I LOVE the gun....BUT....I was going to a test match and couldn't pick the gun up until 6 AM of the same morning....the sites were half a target off took a few clips and adjustments to get to the center... then there were multiple no fires....first attributed to the ammo.....That night I read some problems others had... many involved rough machining....I tore it down and started to break corners and polish surfaces......this included the Magazines...the slide button and its track were rough to the point of sticky....again break corners and polish the edges (a wee bit of hard car wax) helped mucho.... the next day 50 rds without a no fire or problem, with many different rds. Removing the handle covers and doing the same routine and it appears to have no problems now....

my very favorite gun to shoot targets with. Accurate , decent trigger , two ten round mags and a very easy one button take down for cleaning. Price was good and delivery was fast!

I fricking love this gun! So easy to shoot! I'm shooting 2" groups out of the box! My wife, who is a very novice shooter, is doing 4" groups. She is a very tiny woman and has trouble with .380 and 9mm recoil and has weak wrists. This gun's heft and the .22 rounds has almost no recoil. It is a great gun for teaching shooting fundamentals and building confidence in new shooters.

Buds was excellent as usual, fast & trouble-free. This Ruger pistol is awesome! A tack driver. And my aim and gun-handling on my Kimber 45 has improved dramtically, even off-hand. But the best part about this pistol is it's a 22LR. About $.067 cents a piece compared to $.43+ cents a piece for 45ACP FMJ ammo. A very easy gun to clean, even in the field. If you carry a 45, this should be your practice weapon.
