Best AR for the price.

Awesome budget rifle, you have to break in the barrel like any new item you buy. For the price and reliability you can’t beat it.

Absolutely the worst weapon I’ve ever owned. Plastic cheap parts. This weapon jammed repetitively with high quality ammunition. Avoid American tactical like the plague. Rebuilt the entire weapon with quality parts. The only original thing that was functional on this weapon was the barrel. The rest was absolute junk.

This is a great starter rifle. Out of the box, it shoots great. It's easy to upgrade, which makes this rifle that much better. After purchase, I upgraded the stock, added a 15" keymod rail, magpul sights and a low profile gas block. This thing will eat any type of ammo I throw at it. Nice purchase from Bud's and FUN to shoot. Easy for anyone to shoot, and works flawlessly every time.

ATI did a great job with this gun. I've probably ran about 4,000 rounds through it and I have had no problems! None! I changed out the handgaurd (the one that comes on it is a bit bulky for my taste) and a good pair of flip up sights. The Buttstock is pretty nice, I believe it has 6 different lengths to choose from, though I would prefer to see a pad on it. I'd buy it again and again.

After that 4th round shot through, it would not strip to chamber another round. I would recharge and it would go two rounds max before not feeding again. That was with steel jackets. Brass went through great. Great gun for the price.

first time on the rifle range bullets would not extract properly had to cock each round every time I fired the weapon.

This is an excellent gun and the price was amazing,I took this gun out to the range and shot 200 rounds with no issues,I would definitely recommend this firearm to anyone,Don’t let the price fool you.

Great rifle, the polymer lower is not the best thing in the world.. under hard use the pivot pin slot will crack and you will have to replace the lower with a better quality mil-spec aluminum lower as I had to do... after I did that.. the rifle is exceptional.. my only other issue is that the listed description for this modem states 1:7 twist 5.56 barrel.. but after a good year or so of learning all I can about these rifles and AR-15 specs.. I come to find out my barrel is 5.56 but it's stamped as a 1:8 twist.. so not sure if people are noticing that if they need particular twist rate for thier choice of ammo.

awsome rifle for the price shoots straight hard to mount a sling for carry and you need to use good ammo or it will not reround when its hot

Awesome as always Buds. Best place on the internet to buy guns. Rifle arrived in perfect condition. Took it out to the range and put 500 trouble free rounds through it. Shot steel case,brass,223,556, aluminum mags,magpul mags it ran everything and ate every different type of ammo. This inexpensive rifle has outperformed my friends more expensive rifles. I also put a new buttstock on it with absolutely no problems. All you Tommy Tacticals out there don’t be afraid to buy this one, you don’t need a $1000 AR because you probably aren’t a Chris Kyle anyway and you are just wasting your money on all those bells and whistles that jam and malfunction anyway.

I'm amazed. My first encounter with the AR was in 82 at Ft Benning. The M16A2 was not the most endearing weapon, nor did it have the most reassuring reputation. Personally I preferred a shotgun for CQB or dense jungle, swamp and forest environments. That has changed with the introduction of the Omni Hybrid MAXX, with the Surefire NANO parts kit. Out of box, it is quite impressive. Trigger quality and lock time are unbelievably superior to ANY non-match firearm I have owned in 40 years. The one design issue I have is with the plastic detents used for the pivot and takedown pins. Too weak and easily broken. I have replaced them with metal parts. I give this weapon a 9.5

I bought this at a good price although the prices currently seem better. I currently have 9 AR platform firearms and I have to admit that this isn't my go to one. Still, I would say this would be good for plinkers and occasional shooters. Definitely won't last as long as mil-spec ARs but I may be proven wrong. The BCG appears pinned but the pinning didn't seem to have been done correcty as it didn't touch the screws at all. Shot over 500 rounds and it seems good still but you definitely need to watch the barrel as it gets way too hot for the handguards they provided after about two 30-round average speed shots. I suggest saving about $100-150 more if you're just having one AR or as a back up entry-level AR. I ended putting my 22LR conversion kit on this and I enjoy this rifle that way...

When I first got this rifle there was an issue with the bolt. I called ATI and informed them of difficulty just trying to pull back charging handle. The customer service rep, a very pleasant gal, initiated the process to return the rifle for repair. Two weeks later I got the rifle back with the explanation that the bolt was out of spec and was replaced. Long story short, have shot 120 rounds through the rifle without issue. Very pleased with this AR 15 and impressed with the customer service of ATI. The rifle is light, looks good, and is accurate. Bud's as always was a breeze to work with. This is the first time I bought a gun that had an issue right from the start, but things like this do happen with any product.
