My favorite gun for the woods. I have taken countless squirrels with this setup. My only complaint is the extraction of spent shells. The action doesn’t open up all the way without strongly pressing it open. I called the manufacturer and they thought it was something that could loosen over time…it’s been a couple years of consistent use and it hasn’t. The wood stock is also made out of soft wood. Maybe pine? It can be easily scratched by a fingernail. Anyways I still love this shotgun. Just be aware of these things.

Great shotgun. Easy to take apart and clean. Needs a little fine tuning to smooth the break over action but well worth it. The process of purchasing through Buds was flawless.

Who doesn't love a coach gun? They are hard to get a hold of nowadays, and so when this one came available, I did not hesitate and am extremely happy with it. Overall, fit and finish is very good and the wood is beautiful for this price point. The shotgun performed at the range as expected with no issues.

Stoeger 12 gauge coach shotgun has beautiful bluing and the walnut stock on mine is highly figured! Breaks open nice and tight! Very reliable and a riot to shoot!! Highly recommend

Fun gun to shot! Well made and looks good. Shot it with my 16 year old son and he said we should shotguns more often. Just fun to shot with the two triggers a historic firearm as well. The recoil was less than I expected. Would recommend highly!

Really nice coach gun. Feels sturdy and good quality, if taken good care of like any other gun it can be passed down. But when brand new straight out the box when you assemble it its kinda hard to break open which i think its normal. Should break in once you shoot it a bit, which i haven't had a chance to do yet.

Very happy with this stoeger. If you enjoy all steel and wood guns and you like shotguns in general, there is no way you won't enjoy this shotgun. Well built, good looking and fun to shoot.

This is the third Stoeger coach gun I have purchased from Buds. My wife and I use them in cowboy action shooting. They have all performed great. Buds have always been great in timely deliveryt?

This is the very first time i have tried to purchase a firearm since i was granted my First Offenders Act and Buds Gun Shop made this experience a little bit better by providing fast and informative service. Now to the gun, i was impressed by how compact and maneuverable this gun is. For my 5 foot 2 frame, this gun is narrow and lightweight but it has the solid as a rock feel. The only complaint i have is the fitment of the wood and the receiver is not perfect but it looks decent do not let it decide the answer if you want this gun. This is a good feeling and looking gun i am here to tell you.

Purchased this shotgun using Buds layaway program, and as usual Buds provided excellent service. As far as the Shotgun goes it's pleasing to the eyes, and to fire it feels very solid and tight. The assembly, and unassembly is pretty stiff and requires force, hopefully that's an issue that can be resolved with a proper "Break in" period. The action is stiff as well, so hopefully after time and use it becomes smoother to operate. Overall it's 4/5.

Received shotgun from Bud's in specified time. The gun is a quick pointer, light, and has a nicely grained dark walnut stock. So far, no problems (after 300 rounds) with the action or barrels firing, just a little stiff on opening, which is loosening up some with shooting. If the stiffness bothers you, there are a number of videos on U tube that will help you slick up the action. Personally, the only things this gun needs is a recoil pad for clays shooting and a pair of zoom caps to protect the firing pins. The gun is simple, reliable and has multiple applications. 5 stars from me!

Purchased this shotgun for cowboy action shooting. The good, it is a very good shotgun for the money. It shoots well and is a very attractive shotgun. It is also very accurate. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because when I got it the finish on the wood had a very scuffs in it. Also the extractor was froze up and would not extract the shells. The butt pad is no existent and doesn't help with recoil. But all and all I am pretty satisfied and I will remedy all of the problems with a little action work. I would suggest you spent the little extra and buy the coach gun with the pad. I was on a budget and knew I would have to improve it for action shooting. Would not hesitate to buy another one. Buds was great as usual as I have purchase many firearms through them and will continue to do so. Thumbs up.
