I pick up Hornady Critical Defense in 45 acp when a harder punch might be in order. No FTE or FTF issues with my Colt. Price is great and shipping is fast. Bud's needs to work a little harder at keeping it in stock though as it is tough to find and sells out quick.

Wanted some high performance personal defense ammo for my 1911’s and my M&P45 and this ammo filled the ticket. Shoots every time and is very accurate.

I chose this ammo for my CMMG Banshee with an 8 inch barrel due to its tougher than normal construction as these come out of the barrel at 1130 FPS according to my chronograph (7 shot string). They feed great with factory Glock magazines however I found with the 26 round SGM magazines the rubber tip affects proper feeding if loaded over 15 rounds. The tip rubs against the front of the mag causing rounds to stick in the mag. That being said you should only trust factory mags in a home defense firearm anyway.

Bought for the price & concealed carry ability for defense . Have only fired a few rounds for testing at the range & found them with nearly the same kick as regular round defense ammo . Not nearly the kick as I'd anticipated .

This ammo packs a punch for sure. Great penetration and recoil even in a GI 1911.
