my agency provides duty ammo, but not off duty ammo, so we have to buy our own, but it has to be the same brand and style as the duty ammo; Bud's has the best price around on this type of ammo and the shipping is quick

We carry 135 grain of this beauty on duty. No complaints here. They cycle on multiple of my weapon platforms. Stay away from 1911 single stacks. They do not like critical duty. They work, cycle, and burn clean on everything else.

Awesome ammo. 100% reliable feeding and function. Does not fragment when shot into water and goes through a bucket of water when shot from the open top where several other brands did not go through.

I have used Hornady ammo for my most important needs. I prefer a heavier load and therefore use a +P for personal carry. I have never had an issue with this ammo! Solid performance!

These were recommended to me by someone that knows way more than I do. I needed a good quality ammo for defense that packs a punch for 9mm and that has good stopping power. These Hornady Critical Duty 124gr +P fit the bill. I have had no issues with testing. Top notch rounds! Thanks Buds!

Hornady Critical Duty +P 124 grain are a great choice for compact defensive handguns. The bullet shape feeds more reliably than the traditional bullet ogive. Also, the low-flash powders substantially reduce night time muzzle flash: a nice feature, especially with short-barrels and compensators.

I usually buy non plus p ammo however I wasn't paying attention and got a box and was surprise at the smoothness in the recoil, I expected much more kick and longer to get back on target but that wasn't the case at all with Hornady however this is for law enforcement and not the general public and its a little more expensive too but worth it!

These are the rounds I used for duty for many years. I also had used hst's and black talons before that. Quality ammo and is still what I carry as a retiree.
