Comparing the price to that of local vendors, Bud's offered the best bargain. And even though my impatience was running full-bore waiting for delivery, receipt was made in a reasonable time frame. More importantly, I am very pleased with the rifle.

I have reviewed and researched dozens of ARs. I've fired them at ranges to get a feel for them. I shot higher end entries and lower end entries. In my opinion, this 18" 5.56 from Ruger is the sweet spot in terms of price and performance. Full length gas system, two stage trigger, great balance, extremely accurate with any round I've tried between 55 and 75 grains. This one is so nice I bought it twice. Thank you Buds!

Excellent customer service from start (order) to finish (pick up from FFL). Bud's team did what they said they would do. Rifle arrived in less than 1 week from order date. This was my first AR-15 purchase. I was an expert with the M-16A1 during my time in the Army so this rifle took me back. The Ruger AR-556 MPR is louder and comes with no built-in sites. Overall, would recommend this rifle to weekend enthusiast who are looking to get into the game without a large outlay of cash.

The Ruger MPR has proven to be a solid rifle. It shoots really smooth with the 18 inch barrel and rifle length gas system. The trigger is also really really good for a stock trigger. I'd buy it again.

Solid AR across the board...trigger is especially nice and front guard is much better than I expected. Shoots soft and no issues at all. Only thing I would critique Is it seems to prefer Gen 2 over Gen 3 PMags. I would highly recommend and buy again—solid Ruger product as expected. Buds was usual high standard...return customer— many times!

This is a nice AR, with a lot of upgraded features. I did have issues with failure to feed during break-in. It still does not like steel jacket discount ammo. Very happy with the purchase.

Only got about 300 rounds through it but not one issue. Quality seems better than others in the price range. No regrets, would definitely buy again

Seriously impressed with this rifle. I have had for a few years now and it is stil my favorite. This thing is a tack driver, you can put a few in same hole easily. I have used and abused this rifle and it shows no signs of slowing down. Clean properly when needed and it will not fail you. Takes all kinds of different brand magazines and ammo flawlessly. My buying experience was smooth and quick as was the delivery. Have zero issues with rifle or budsgunshop🤙 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Buds Guns delivered this excellent rifle quickly without delay and at a very fair price. The gun operated flawlessly, no feed issues, accurate , well made and handles great. Great for 3Gun comp , or self defense. Some feel the longer barrel is a hinder. I don't mind it at all after I got used to it.

Nice looking rifle always good service from Buds but I had the high capacity magazine removal they did remove the 30 round mag but didn’t replace it with a 10 round magazine so it left me with no magazine at all. I bout a sling locally the is the only rifle I have ordered that I can’t tell how to hook up the sling? But I love dealing with Buds and will continue to do so

I'm no AR fanatic, nor am I crazy about guns in general, so take this with a grain of salt. This is my first AR/personal weapon purchase, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. First day at the range I shot probably 400 rds 62 gr ammo. There was 0 malfunctions and this weapon was a pleasure to shoot. Each time I was surprised by the lack of recoil and the amount of control I was able to demonstrate. I was maintaining 1.5in groups out to 100yds pretty comfortably using a $100 monstrum 3x scope I picked up off amazon on a lightning sale. Buds was a pleasure to work with, they shipped fast and had great communication when my first FFL backed out of the transfer. In comparison to my past experience with rifles (AKs, M4s, and 10/22s) this was incredibly reliable. Great weapon for the price.
