Unimpressive. Tried it. Didn't like it. Makes noise and usually get a ping downrange. Made for a dirty gun, dirty face, dirty hands... where does Winchester get their powder?

bought this ammo for my 742 deer rifle

I purchased this ammunition for the price and that 180 gr. .308 has some serious knock-down potential. I, also, want something signifcantly-different than the usual 147 gr. (PMC & S&B) that I have. My preferred ammunition is, by far, 6.5 mm Cr., 140 gr. and I have been very pleased with its performance; should you be able to get any.

Decent run of the mill deer ammo. Moderately accurate and plenty effective enough for deer and other similar sized game.
