5/5 With so many "Suggested" mounts out there for the M1A, I will admit, I have 2 M1A's, and I have tried ever, single one of them. That "ARMS 18"? Is JUNK! I have one of these from my 1st M1A that I never mounted. Finally did. Instructions may be UNDER the foam in the box! THIS is the mount you want. It will say in the instructions "Do NOT use "Lock-Tite".! (B.S!) USE IT!! We used M14's in Iraq. With ACOG's. I attached mine using BLUE "LOCK-TITE" It has after over 2,500 rounds of some hefty .308, 175's 180's it has NEVER lost it's "Zero" nor came lose. THIS is the mount you want. Just what I needed to reach out and touch something to 500 yard. Mounted a BDC scope on my M1A and this bracket fit perfect. Fairly easy to assemble mount following instructions and having proper tools.
