Great gun for the money. Transaction with Bud's was easy and timely. This is my second 45, I purchased for a carry option but found it too large for cc. Gun is accurate, smooth feeding and fells good in your hand.

A bit lighter than your typical commander size 1911. This thing runs like a tank. Bull barrel and you won't look back. A diff animal during cleaning but it's a life saving tool... enough said.

The pistol was received in perfect cosmetic and working condition void of any flaws. It is well made and looks like a quality firearm. The 2-tone finish option gives it character and style standing out in a sea of common "blah" pistols. The 4" barrel and slide commander size will compliment my identical 2-tone configured Ultra Carry Carry II and Custom II. They shoot very well given they are modest priced production 1911 .45 ACP pistols. The sights shoot dead on to POA/POI which is important for a defensive pistol. I can't speak to the factory magazines in any of them because I always swap them out with upgraded Wilson Combat magazines. I always use either the recommended Shooters Choice FP-10 Elite oil, Mil Comm TW-25B grease or Wilson Combat Ultima Lube II Universal. They run flawless if you use good quality magazines and something better than cheap big box store lubricants. They run any kind of ammo I have put in them including the old famous H&G #68 200 grain LSWC Bullseye comp load. No issues whatsoever while they cut one ragged hole at distances 15 yards. I am considering swapping out all the sights on all of them for Novak 3-dot white tritium night sights. Nothing is wrong with the standard 3-dot white sights that come on them if you want to stick to those as well. They are very serviceable and easy to shoot accurately with. Overall I am please with this entire three piece matching set of Kimber 1911s and Buds had them for a great price. All three of them came from Buds Gun Shop.

Kimber, in my opinion, is a top of the firearm. I bought a small Kimber 357 for conceal carry 3 years ago for Christmas and I've wanted a Kimber myself since then after becoming familiar with the craftsmanship of Kimber products. I wasn't really in the market when I purchased my Pro Carry II 45ACP 2 weeks ago, but I received an email from Buds Guns with a special off that was too good to pass up! The buying and shipping process of my purchase was a great experience and I will definitely purchase my next firearm from them.

Well I must say very disappointing so far I am at 300 rounds and is still jamming up from beginning to the end of the clips. I hope it works out but as of right now Kimber will not be getting a good review from me

I purchased this 1911 about two weeks ago. The appearance is simply beautiful. Kimber recommends a 500 round break in period, so I brought it to the range right away and ran 500 round through it out of the box in one session (yes, my hands were a tad sore after). The trigger had a nice crisp break. After a few hundred rounds, I had a handful of failure to feeds, but the gun was quite hot and dirty by that point. I am very please with this 1911 and would recommend it.

This Kimber is a bargain at this price! Fit and finish is perfect. I've put over 200 rounds through it so far without a single malfunction. Both 230gr FMJ and Federal HST were used.
The three dot sights were well regulated, especially for wind age. Recoil with the aluminum frame is very manageable and the light weight makes for comfortable carry. I put Crimson Trace laser grips on it and it is now Like their Crimson Carry model but, with better three dot sights.

Excellent price, good service and prompt delivery...Still have not tested my Kimber, but expecting no troubles at all, will follow "break in" instructions, will comment later.

this gun is fantastic. but read the manual before you shoot it . cleaned mine as it came from factory.... none of my guns are ever as dirty after shooting as this came new ...... so clean before you shoot buyer beware..

Great pistol at a great price! It's a mainstay in my EDC rotation adding Tritium night sights. A very accurate shooter and felt broken in after 100 rounds instead of 500! Does well with Winchester White Box 230 gr JHP of Remington Green/White Box 230 gr JHP rounds! Love shooting and carrying this pistol and thankful to Buds for the transaction!
