I have several M&P mod 1 guns and like them very much, but the trigger has never been my favorite. With the mod 2, S&W refined a proven system and greatly improved it. It's not a target trigger, but I bought this for home defense, and did not want a target trigger. I have always liked the ergonomics of the M&P, and this gun is among the best fits for my hand. The new texture is a little too intense for me, but it will never be slippery. It's my new bedside companion.

What can you say, it is a LE workhorse. I enjoy the ergonomics more than the Glock 17/19 and the aftermarket support is good. This is a go to for my duty carry after selling my M&P 40 I regretted it and came back to the M&P with the M&P 9 2.0. If you need a good duty pistol look no further!

This is the second M&P 2.0 I have owned. I should never have gotten rid of the first one. This, for my hand, has the most ergonomic feel and is one of the most accurate pistols I have ever shot. I have had zero malfunctions. I carry and M&P 1.0 for work and love both weapons. 5 stars all the way!

I’m really pleased with this weapon. The quality of this weapon is above the average. I love the way it fits in my hand and is accurate at the range with no problems operating properly. This will be one of my favorite pistols. Would highly recommend this pistol to anyone looking for a fine gun.

Very nice gun, excellent quality. Shoots good no failures to feed so for. Trigger is not quite a smooth as I had hoped but hopefully a little tuning I will fix that. The trigger gives it a four but otherwise a 5.

As always, it is a seamless and quick process purchasing from Bud's. The M&P M2.0 9mm full size is a great striker-fired pistol. It feels good in the hand and with the four easily changeable palm swells included, fitting it to your specific hand size and preferred grip is a breeze. Even though it's a full size pistol, it comes in about the same size as a Glock 45 and with Smith & Wessons low slide profile it makes tight groups at 25 yards and accurate even further.
