I absolutely love my Heritage Rough Rider 6.5" 9-Shot! I hear a lot of talk by people who don't actually own a Heritage. They're just insecure trying to sound knowledgeable by regurgitating reviews they've read by OTHER people. These (2) 9shots make my 4th Heritage revolver purchase and I can't say enough good things about them. Never a problem that isn't user error and do everything they're supposed to do all while looking cooler than a Wrangler and lunch is on me since I saved so much. 😆 Just trollin', the other SAA is great and I wish I had the steel frame instead of Kryptonite or whatever they say Heritage Revolvers are made of but it's strong enough to handle these loads and that good enough for me. Keep on plinkin'

A fun gun. I like that it shoots 22lr or 22 mag Easy to hit the target. Good for small game. Very inexpensive

This is THE perfect .22 revolver. 9 shots. .22 Long rifle or .22 magnum, perfect design for safe and multi purpose shooting. I bought this gun to replace a similar model my Dad had for many years. I inhereted my Dad"s pistol and shot it many times...I lost it in a house fire so.I was thrilled to find this pistol.in stock at the very best online gun shop anywhere. BUD'S gun Shop.

Use this as a farm revolver and it shoots fine. Hasn't given me any problems yet. Been shooting this revolver for a year with no complaints. Buds came through again with another great buy.

This is an excellent 22 revolver very accurate great for walking the trapping line, shooting, varmints easy to carry. It’s nice that I can change out to a 22 Winchester Magnum, and still retain the accuracy. I would recommend this 22 pistol to anyone.

I've bought 4 of these revolvers. I had issues with 2 of them, (1 out of time, parts replaced and fixed, and number 2, a warped frame and they gave me the exact model gun to replace it,) and I returned a later purchased cylinder and grips. But they were responsive and made everything right. I wrote them about doing a simple function check on the pistols and cylinders before they ship out and they agreed and was going to pass it on to Quality Control. But regardless, buy one, check the timing, (YouTube it) make sure the cylinders are good and can turn... and you got a hella good gun. 4 stars only for lack of quality control. Beautiful guns!

Excellent gun and an incredible value, just like the 4 other versions I own. However, you should consider the upgraded version with fiber optic sights to get more distance out of the platform. If you're ok with shorter distance shooting, this is great but understand the gun is mechanically capable of much greater accuracy if you're willing to sacrifice its 19th century appearance a little bit. I feel like the best balance between historical accuracy and modernity would be to go with this version and the adjustable fiber optic sights which is an inexpensive upgrade. Heritage offers this revolver platform in many configurations, so buy the one that suits the needs you have. These are so good, I keep buying more of them in different variations.

A fantastic shooter. It has a very good action for what it is.It does take a little getting used to loading and unloading.Being a nine shot it does this a little differant than the six shot.You just have to get used to it.

I have always wanted a Heritage Arms Firearm. It works great, looks great, and does the job I bought it for. Taking care of vermin around my farm. I use 22 mag. rat shot , and with the 9 round firearm I have all the firepower I need. Will order again and tell all of my friends where to buy their next firearm and ammo.

I bought this because the price was excellent for what you get. I got both cylinders, one for Long Rifle ammunition and one for 22 magnum ammunition. I think I paid 145.00 at the time I bought this gun. Heritage has a problem with screws backing out and getting loose, make sure you buy some "Lock Tight" to put on the screws to keep them from getting loose while you are at the range or out hunting and carry a small screw driver with your other supplies in your range bag.

This is one of five Rough Rider Revolvers I have purchase. At least three of them from Buds. For the money, a great shooter.

Very happy with this revolver. Very good for target and rodent. Love the 9 shot and also the LR and Mag. cylinders. The 6.5" barrel makes for an accurate shot.

The product arrived in a timely manner!! In prefect condition. Great plinker pistol we are having a lot of fun with it. Thinking of buying another, gift for the wife. Happy wife happy life!!

Action was rough and sticking. Internals were dry with no evidence of lubricant. Much friction between the bolt and hammer. Light stoning and application of Balistlol corrected the problem. Hammer spring might be a little weak.

This is a great little .22, especially for the price. I was looking at an old used .22 revolver for $150 and decided to check prices on new Heritage Arms models. The one I settled on was a .22LR/.22Mag 9 shot with 6.5” barrel. It functions perfectly and is accurate with both cylinders and all 9 shots. I also like that you can go on the HA website and order other grips for it and customize it to some extent. I spent $197 plus shipping and FFL, so for just under $250 in my hand “delivered”. It was worth it.
