I picked this up from Bud's a month or so ago- it is my new EDC. I realize that most of the time guns jam, etc., it's the result of operator error. I certainly make errors. I recently went to the range and shot my Glock 42, chambered in .380- which I'd been carrying for a couple of years. Accurate as heck at the range. However, when shooting my first magazine, first round, a stove pipe occurred. I decided to investigate this Ruger "Lipsey's" .32 H&R Magnum. Ordered it from Bud' opted for the lifetime warranty. What a deal! I love it, great shooting experience with S&W .32 long wad cutters, very smooth. Great trigger. Magnum loads do kick more significantly. But controllable. Easy to carry without printing. Wider than the Glock 42, but it puts me at ease having it on board! Thanks to Bud's for offering this, and for offering their great shipping and their lifetime warranty for such a reasonable price!

I decided to get one of these to have around the house for my wife. Less recoil than a 38 and one extra round. It is a fantastic little gun that feels really great in the hand, and the recoil is very minimal. Even my 12 year old daughter enjoys shooting it. I recommend Hornady Critical Defense rounds through it.

Excellent small frame revolver for pocket carry. You can shoot 32 long for practice. Then load the 32 magnum for defense. As it’s a snub nose you truly won’t spend all day at the range with shooting it anyway. The trigger is just as good if not better than a stock J frame. Very little stacking, just pull through it, it’s smooth and let it come forward for a reset. Recoil is non existent with this revolver. At 7-12 you will hit center mass of your target with the stock sight. Great Ruger for the money and Buds service was outstanding.

The Ruger LCR 32 H&R Magnum is by far my favorite LCR model. It is very accurate using 32 S&W long semi wad cutters, which have excellent penetration and LOW recoil. I have owned several LCRs including Cal. 22LR in both LCR and LCRX, which due to heavier rim fire trigger pull--coupled with light weight-- makes it diificult to stay on target. The 38 Special had, for me, too much muzzle flip and the 327 version had way too much blast for this 74 yr old. I'm aging out of the recoil game after a life time of 357 Magnum and 45acp. The tendon damage and arthritis have taken their toll. If you are experiencing similar issues or just don't care for heavy recoil maybe you should consider this model. I like it so well that I carry two!

By far my favorite snub-nose for daily carry. Great trigger out of the box and mild recoil even with 32 H&R Magnum loads.

Easy to shoot and accurate at 20 yards. Has light recoil, much less than 38 spl. Has 6 rounds and penetrates as well if not better than the 5 round 38 spl (which is really a .35 bullet ). Very light weight , easy to carry in a pocket. No need for even a holster. Trigger is smooth . A great every day carry firearm.

If you’ve been thinking about the .327 LCR but don’t plan to shoot .327 ammo, consider this: the lighter .32H&R mag version. It will fire .32 H&R plus .32 S&W long ammo, both with much less recoil than .38 Special. I bought 2 of these: one for me and one for my wife. The 6-round capacity is a huge advantage for us, with more shots and being easier to get back on target. There are some great defensive loads being made now for both calibers. It’s also cheaper (I don’t know why) than the other LCR models. No brainer.
