This Kahr is small, lean and solid. You can drop it into your pants pocket. It goes with me on dog walks every night just in case some huge dog-monster gets loose in our neighborhood, which has happened. Because it is small it does have a small bite when shooting. It takes a shooting a few round through it to get it happy. Not fussy over ammo. Very well made firearm. Get if from Buds like I did, you won't regret it.

Kahr CT 380 ran all 200 rounds of the break in ammunition period in one range trip. The trigger is excellent and I was even able to fast fire it with a double action trigger. The trigger is high performancs. I fired 100 rounds of FMJ and 100 rounds of hollow points without any problems. This gun has a low recoil and is very accurate even at 100 yards. This is very well built, you can feel it when firing. I'm glad I chose this gun, it is reliable, easily concealable and a fun gun to shoot. It has plenty of power. This is definity the best pocket carry I have. I think this gun is overlooked. Very nice shooter and worth every dime. Buy this, you will love it.

Best 380 I've owned, better than the G42. Thin small and built well.

I have been happy with this pistol so far, but it takes some work to get it there. I have about 250rds through it, and it seems to be functioning reliably now. I had several FTF I. The first 200rds. Also, the trigger started to a stick back after firing 150rds without cleaning. It resets now after a thorough cleaning. As long as you know what you are getting and have some patience to do some polishing and break it in, it is a great little pistol. I would not recommend to a new or inexperienced shooter who is not willing to break in this pistol. There are some really helpful post on the Kahrtalk blog that help with some of the common issues Kahrs have. Once, you get them ironed out, they are great little pistols. The center group in the attached picture is a full 7rd mag at 5yds. :)

Very hard to rack slide, unless you're Superman, and if that's case you don't need a firearm. Gunsmith says there's no remedy available for this model. Sweet gun other than that.

Hello, Unfortunately I'm writing this review bc of firearm issues, idk how long you poccess these guns b4 you sell them but this particular kahr CT..380 the magazine release sticks, the slide is tough to rack luckily I have a slide assist tool, I'm an older man with arthritis I've heard nothing but good reviews on this pistol hence I bought one. Never again! Otherwise getting it to me was faster than I thought.

it’s nice, feels good, not the most accurate, but IMO, .380’s aren’t as accurate as 9mm.

I think these Kahr pistols are some of the most under rated quality pistols at crazy low prices

Bought this because its very small to conceal yet the grip is enough for me to grip and I'm 6'3. But it does have failure to feed issues and any time I've tried to email the service department at Kahr multiple times in 2yrs, butI've never received a response...ever. Tells me that their customer service and wanting to stand behind their products is worthless. Ended up going with the S&W .380 EZ. And that runs flawlessly.

First thing Buds was 60 dollars less than anybody. In terms of price and service they are untouchable. I am a big 380 fan, don't get me wrong I have 5 great 9MM's I like this gun. It fits that perfect size to carry in south Florida where we live in shorts and T shirts . I have bought and sold the following 380's : LCP 2 S&W bodyguard Taurus Spectrum and the Beretta Pico because they were all way too snappy. If your going to carry a gun you should practice with it. If it's no fun to shoot, you are probably not going to practice with it. I know a lot of men and women that own a LCP but none of them practice with them. That's no good. Does the CT380 shoot better than my 2 Glock 42's ? NO Does is shoot better than either of my 380 EZ's oh hell no. But for it's size it's just fine. Yes it took at least 150 rounds before it smoothed out, And yes it is ammo finicky. And yes it's hard to rack I have found it likes Seller& Bellot round nose. No flat nose or hollow points. I put a Hogue grip on it. The same one that's on my 365XL It does soak up some recoil I bought 6 extra mags and added Pearce grip extensions to most of them and put on a Arma Laser TR19 I think I have found the ideal So. Florida carry gun . If you are willing to take the time to break it in you will like it.

I love the look and feel of this firearm and took it out yesterday (10/10/2021) for a test drive. The first 2 magazines ran flawlessly but after reloading for 3rd magazine the front sight fell off and it was an outdoor range so lots of gravel and stuff. 6 people on their hands and knees must have looked funny. Point is we could not find it. Now my Kahr has only 2 holes where the front sight used to be. Serial Number A008567. Let's see how good their customer service is.

Worst firearm I have ever purchased. Shot 2 different types of ammo through it and half of the shots were malfunctions. Mostly stovepipes and failure to feed.

You get what you pay for and this served its purpose. Now I own glocks only.

Great deal on a Kahr. Note that they are picky about some brands of ammo (some appear to have thicker rims that the extractor wont clear. I found that Magtech and ball fiocchi wont work, but hornady cd and fiocchi ftx cycle fine. Be sure to do the 200 round breakin before declaring a kahr bad. Kahr customer service is good. I had a follower break on pm40, and they replaced it. It may be a feed ramp issue on those models.

Great Gun! A little snappy but manageable. Put 100 rounds of Remington 95gr FMJ, and 50 rounds of American Eagle 95gr FMJ through it with no problems. As always, Bud's service was great.

I bought this over the CW380 because it's a little bigger and fits the hand better. Fells good, shoots good, and has functioned flawlessly from the start and the recoil is more manageable than my LCP. If you're looking for a .380 with a little more real estate to wrap your hand around, look at the CT380.

This is my 5th Kahr pistol, first CT380. Of them all it is the only one that required a break in- the others ran 100% from day 1. Outside of that though its a good gun. I personal prefer the CW380- they shoot the same and the CW is smaller. Good little gun though and a great price

Nice firearm for the money. Stiff spring but that is to be expected. Super slim and light, I haven't shot it yet . I got it because it got good reviews and I always wanted a Kahr. I gave it a four because they seem to have feeding problems so I'll keep the slide locked back for a few weeks and hopefully I don't have to mess with the ejecter witch is another common problem.

Fantastic little 380. Very high quality and love the trigger. Only 1 mag but that's expected at this great price. Had a few FTF hiccups in the first 100 rounds but flawless since. Slide spring is very tight when new but loosens up during break in. I'm new to Kahrs but definitely looking to pick up a few more after getting to know this little gun. Buds is awesome too. Shipping seems to be getting faster. A+++++++

A little bigger than the CW380 which to me is a good thing. The CW380 was too snappy on recoil for my wife to shoot without limp wristing it. The CT380 has a longer grip which makes it a lot easier to manage recoil. Accuracy is good for a small pistol and though it is marginally bigger than the CW380 it is still small enough to conceal carry in the summer. I will not say it is fun to shoot, but it really was not intended to be. It is reliable and easy to conceal. The trigger breaks predictably at just under 7 pounds. No safeties to worry with but the long trigger pull should be enough to keep it from negligent discharges when handled. The sights are easy to see and use. Again this is designed for concealed carry and fills the role well. For $227 it is a very good deal. Expect to pay about $30 each for extra magazines.. you only get one with the gun. The gun gets 4 out of 5 stars as a primary weapon, but 5 out of 5 for a concealed carry, or back up weapon.

I gave it a 4 star because the first 100 rounds didnt go so well. Bet it got better and i will you some tips. 1 dont use steal ammo! 2 clean it very well and lock the slide back for 3 to 4 days to break in the spring. After that the gun should run very well! Enjoy!

This has become my EDC pocket pistol since purchase. I have good things to report about the gun, and It is reliable with sustained fire for the entire clip... There is a caveat to that last statement however... Both females that have shot this pistol at the range with me had FTE as well as a failure of the cocking mechanism on the backstroke of the slide. I identified the reason as limp wristing. Females shoot with a weaker wrist than most males do. I figured out that this gun in particular is very sensitive to limp wristing and a weak grip. The gun works very well in my own hands as I am a large male with strong hands. I never experienced the issues that either of my female friends had firing this gun. The failure of the cocking mechanism to catch on the backstroke during live fire is due to limp wristing. The gun jumps noticeably in the hand of petite females. The excessive recoil in the hand of both girls would leave the gun in a condition where it cycled but failed to cock the striker. Once the trigger was pulled nothing would happen and it appeared to have jammed. I would strongly recommend against purchasing this gun for a female because of the issue I described above. I determined that it was reliable in my own hand but not when fired by two different girls. Aside from the lack of reliability when shot by two different girls I would still rate this gun very highly as an exceptional value for the price and I feel confident about carrying it. I did leave the slide in the back position for 24 hours after purchase as others have recommended. I was using regular range ammo both trips to the range and I carry it with JHP in a pocket holster.

Great service and delivery by Bud's as usual. I am impressed by the Kahr ct380 fit and finish so far. I have only had the gun about 3 weeks now. It is a perfect size for this caliber as it is small and light enough to be comfortable to carry/conceal and it is big enough to allow one to shoot it well. I also have a Ruger LCP which is super easy to conceal but not so easy to shoot well or enjoy shooting. I had read reviews that the Kahr may be more ammo sensitive than some others and this seems to be true. I definitely believe that Kahr's recommendation to shoot 200 rounds for break-in is accurate. When shooting cheap ball ammo, the last round in the magazine hasn't been going into battery all the way. It responds to a light "tap" on the rear of the slide. Hornady critical defense rounds didn't feed well, but Ruger SRX and Buffalo bore with lead free hollow points feed perfectly. I think this will be a great gun long term.
