well made small compact package Go on ahead and get the sharps bro grip and get a side folding brace. I went with the 1-6 lpvo from primary arms. Bought for Missouri alternative season / backpack hiking gun. AAC makes a decent 110grn Vmax bullet that’s great for hunting. Thanks buds for selling me this great pistol.

Have not shot or taken any game with it as of yet. Really like and or love it on target. Shoots incredibly well. Plan on getting another one asap.

Excellent product, simple gun design means less to go wrong! I have had no issues with this gun, and while only putting about 60 rounds through so far, it is way more accurate then I would have guessed (if you use the right optic)

What can I say, I’m a huge fan of anything CVA, and this “pistol” is right there with the rest of ‘em. It does have a small hop to it but it’s very manageable. I have a bipod on mine just because it looks cool and I have something to hold on to while firing which helps with recoil. No much to say about it really, it’s just a fun little gun to shoot. P.S I’m kidding, there is no recoil with this thing! Just buy one if you can fine they in stock!

Perfect for Missouri alternative season. I mounted a sig red dot on provided rail and shoot good groups with various 300 blackout ammo. Attach my suppressor to the threaded barrel and subsonic ammo is Hollywood quiet. Great pistol and great experience with Buds.

This is a fabulous fire arm, I fitted this little pistol with a Bi-Pod, Scope, Strap and because it had a threaded barrel i had to add a Suppressor, this works great with sub sonic ammo, that yes, comes in .300 caliber. After bringing it to the range and showing it off to the bench mates, i proceeded to test fire and sight in the scope, it took 3 shots to hit dead center at 100 yards, this shoots better than my rifle, if you can find one, buy it, i thought i got the last one!

This pistol is a blast to shoot. It's a relatively lightweight, single-shot handgun shooting a rifle cartridge. So, yeah, it's a blast to shoot, literally. It's a head-turner at the range, that is for sure. I put a pistol scope on it and use it as a hunting pistol. I can reliably hit a clay pigeon at 50 yards using shooting sticks. And, with the right bullet choice, this is a handy hunting option. It's ambidextrous. It's solidly built. It has a sweet trigger. Seriously, it is a light trigger. And, it has a 5/8x24 threaded barrel, so, if you live in a state where you can own a suppressor, this gun would be perfect suppressor host option. It is a ton of fun to shoot. I love CVA products. The barrels are made by Bergara, and they make accurate stuff. Thanks, BudsGunShop.

In my opinion the CVA Scout 300 Black Out is of excellent quality. Breech opens easily and cleaning is a snap. I put a sling stud on the front hand guard and carry mine across the back. I also have a chest holster rig that I got from CVA and a large scope size Bandolier type holster that fits many of my pistols. I shoot MOA tight groups at 50yds (off bags) and consistent one-inch groups at 100 yards. I shoot only (my choice) Gorilla Ammo 300 Black Out Subsonic 115 Grain hunting rounds out of it. As the barrel is threaded, I run a designated AAC762 Suppressor, and it is close to HOLLYWOOD MOVIE QUIET as one can get. The suppressor is encased in a heat shield sleeve made just for that model. On right side between pistol grip and front handguard I glued on a Short Action Precision 2 round fabric ammo holder for that needed second shot. But have found one shot is all it took. For an optic I put on a Weaver Classic 2x6 Pistol Scope with superb eye relief inside Leupold rings. I suggest you clean and reset the pistol rail using Blue Loctite. The safety mechanism takes a little getting used to but becomes more user friendly as one test drives the pistol. It is Not light with or without all my accoutrements. One must shoot with two hands spread out on the weapon as you would a rifle and I use a shooting stick if in a ground blind or the tree or rail or knees if in a tree stand of some kind. I am sure shooting a red dot on it would work well. This is a hunting weapon-period, and it is NOT an everyday carry EDC type of pistol. A blast to shoot, little recoil compared to my other toys and simply a one-shot pony that does the deed on deer and wild hogs very well. Get one today. Old Nam Vet-Semper Fi 67-71NOTE: Buds Guns made a mistake in their listing this product at $6,5643.21. How they did that I have no clue. I think when I bought this it ran between $200 to $300 range.

This CVA Scout pistol in 300 AAC Blackout is my go to deer hunting firearm. While somewhat heavier than the 300 Whisper T/C Contender I used to use, the CVA Scout is more accurate, has a better trigger, and has a stronger action than the contender. I used this Scout to take an eight point buck this past fall.

I picked this firearm up from my local FFL today. CVA Scout V2 in .300 AAC Blackout. Bud’s had this listed as a 14” barrel with no mention of it being threaded. All the Q&A said this item was actually a 11.5” with a threaded barrel. Upon unboxing, mine is threaded, however it has a 14” barrel. Since I will be using this in a tree stand as a deer hunting pistol, that’s fine with me (what man would complain about having an extra 2 1/2 inches anyway)? Bad jokes aside, this gun is a beast. It’s heavy and is very well made. If I had to say anything negative it’s the same as others have said - the tiny, small safety seems to be the weak link. However, I really don’t think I’ll ever need to use it. The gun will be loaded and kept uncocked until ready to fire at game or targets. As always, Buds was fantastic to work with.

This 300 blackout pistol has been the most pleasant firearm that I had ever fired in a pistol. I think it is because it is very heavy but It is very accurate I shot less that a inch group at 90yds only 12 shots into shooting this gun. Look forward to shooting it more to really see what it can do. The only complaint would possible be is the very thin safety lever. I'm very glad there is a lifetime warranty. I guess its not a complaint but more of a concern. The 4 stars is because i haven't shot it enough for absolute accuracy. All in all excellent firearm. Thanks to all of the professional service from Budsgun shop team members.

Great shooter. Not much recoil with that round when using Gorilla 150 grain Barnes ammo.
They did have a disclaimer about the picture on the website of the gun may not represent the actual gun that you may receive.
The picture showed and the description says nothing about a threaded barrel. I could not find anything that says if it has a threaded barrel or how long the barrel is. I did an online chat and they didn't seem to know if it was threaded or not!
It all worked out, it is threaded.

Very nice gun trigger pull is light my only complaint is that the break down lever tends to be a little sticky/not so smooth to push but other wise very pleased

This pistol is pretty awesome. A little heavy, but i put a cheap red dot on it and have had zero issues with it so far. My only concern is that the safety seems to be very fragile. Other than that, it's built like a tank.

I couldn't be happier with this pistol. Comfortable to hold, nice balance, quality of build is excellent, lock up is very tight and solid, finish on metal surfaces is excellent, comes with front and rear sling swivels in case you want to set it up for a sling, the installed Durasight scope rail makes it a breeze to install the optics of your choice and the trigger is absolutely amazing. One of the nicest triggers I've ever experienced from a stock firearm. I mounted a 2x6x32 Bushnell pistol scope on mine and the accuracy was outstanding using my handloads. Recoil is light and the pistol is just really fun to shoot. I really do love this pistol. I specifically bought this pistol for deer hunting and now I can't wait for the season to open. Wish I had bought one of these a long time ago. I liked the pistol so much I went ahead and ordered the .243 Winchester version. If you're looking for a great hunting pistol at a super price then look no further.

What fun little gun, surprisingly accurate. I think I'm most impressed with the trigger.
