Needed a reliable and fun .22 LR rifle for target practice and plinking. H&K's G36 fit the bill. No issues after shooting over 200 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag 40 grain. Fast delivery from Buds as usual.

The firearm looks and feels very nice. Very easy to strip down, and very light! Unfortunately, I have had numerous jamming issues out of the box. I could not go through a full magazine without at least one jam. It seems the round is not being fed all the way in the firing chamber. The strikes look very light on the rounds. After dealing with this, I had proceeded to use the manual on how to care for the firearm. Had followed all instructions for lubricating and cleaning. Took the firearm to the range for the second time, and was dealing with same issues of the round not being loaded into the chamber all the way. It was also a major problem when the last round would stay in the firing chamber, but the charge handle would lock back indicating there are no more rounds. Just had to pull back on charge handle again to squeeze out last round. I hope to find the issue with the firearm as it is very fun to use when it is functioning. Aside from the negative firearm review, thank you Buds for your quick shipping and service!

The HK G36 clone is a wonderful gun to shoot. It is light, but still feels well made. It has good accuracy after a scope has been added, and has holes for adding additional rails to the front sides and under barrel (3.375 inch length between center of holes, not really documented anywhere). It is also very easy to disassemble to clean without the need of tools. Mine eats through cheap ammo no problem, and uses the standard 'tactical 22 mag' that Walther and Beretta share, usually listed for the ARX160 or HK 416, so it's easy and cheap to find additional ones. The only two small downsides: it's not the easiest to clean the barrel, and the built in sight is just there as a fun reference to the original and not accurate at all. Overall I would buy this gun again in a heartbeat. It has become my go to for range day, and both new and veteran shooters always enjoy getting their turn using it.
