Shot the Kel-Tec P17 out of the box at the FFL indoor range with Aguila super extra high speed copper plate last week . Had a few instances where the slide did not go all the way to the front. Field stripped, cleaned lubricated and paid a visit to the range today. First hand loads with CCI mini mag. A few times slide did not fully go to the front. Switched to Aguila again and no more problems. Both Aguila solid 40 grain an Aguila hollow point went trough a 2\" piece of wood easy at 15 feet. All three magazines were fully hand loaded (16 bullets)without effort and not a single problem. Gun is accurate and a joy to shoot.

Initially my son was not interested \"in that plastic toy\" but when he saw it in action he shot 10 mags without any problem. His guns left the range without shooting a single bullet. Did not take long to brake in. If you want to have fun without braking the bank Kel-Tec P 17 is the way to go.
