Don't let the name Tisas or the country of manufacture scare you away from this gun This 1911 in 10mm is an absolute tack driver. At 15 yards I easily hold 2-3" groups with Hornady Critical Defense JHP ammo. The action is smooth, not $4,000 smooth, but well above the $600 price point. The trigger is consistent and breaks nicely. Recoil is more than manageable thanks to the heft. Ergonomically, I love it. The grips look and feel great. The stipling on the frame keeps your hand(s) where they need to be while firing. This is now my go to gun for sidearm carry in the woods, replacing my .44 magnum. My only complaint is the action requires pulling the hammer back before firing, so not a true double/single. I'm sure I could have it modified, but it works flawlessly as is. Overall, it's a five star gun for the price. You'll be hard pressed to find the same quality from a brand new 1911 elsewhere for $600. Give it a try. You won't be disapointed.

First, I have not fired this specific firearm, but it is gorgeous. Love the feel, heft and firepower. I reload 135 gr bullets for my 10mms. I go for ballistic speed! Definitely recommend.

Do not order this firearm. After 16 rounds I found that the casings being ejecting were damaging the slide. Josh at SDS Imports claims this is normal and refuses to warranty the gun. I have several handguns of which none score the slide while ejection. Beware. I would give less than one star for poor customer service if I could.

Feels and shots as good as it looks

Great service, as always, from Bud's. The fit and finish are excellent. Everyone comments on it. I also have one of their .45's to go with it. They make a nice set. They have both run flawlessly for me with any ammo I feed them.

Hello. Nice looking gun for the price. Tested it and fires ok and accurrately. Only con I find is spent casings instead of flying to the right, they go overhead, 6 oclock, some hit in the head. Annoying. Any suggestions? May be a stronger recoil spring?

This is a beautiful pistol ! Features like the frame checkering, undercut trigger guard and ambi safety make it stand out over some more expensive 1911's IMHO. Trigger is very good, sights were right on without any adjustment. Negatives so far are the super heavy recoil spring and mag release catch but these things improve with use. Shoots great with all the various ammo I have but ejection flings the cases back over my head about 15 feet. More accurate than my Glock G40 too and got to love that 10mm power.

Received Pistol couple weeks ago. Shipping from Bud’s was fast. I’ve put about 300 rounds thru pistol so far. Function has been flawless and accuracy has been good. Great looking fire arm. Very pleased with purchase.

I own several 1911’s. I was hesitant because of the low price. So far 300 rounds through no ftf or failure of any kind. Great pistol and quality is above the price point. I have several big name equivalents and this shoots just as nice as they do. As always Buds had this to my local dealer quick and will continue to buy from Buds and this won’t be my last Tisas

This is my first 10 mm 1911 and i love it 4 brands of ammo 20 hollow points 400 rounds and no issues fit and finish just as good as my colt sights are only neg changing to 3 dot looks great shoots great and great price from buds

Another dandy Sisas 1911, this one a 10mm. Ordered on Monday picked it up from FFL on Friday. Fit and finish are perfect for a 1911 and has tight barrel to frame with no give upon rocking the slide as well no rattles from the internals when handling or shaking. I cannot elicit any FTF or FTE even when limp writing the damn thing! 10mm is a pretty stout shooter but the ergonomics of the gun aid in wrangling out clover leafs at 7 to 10 yds if the shooter does his or her part. I’ve been shooting 1911 45’s for some time so my muscle memory is good. For the money this is a deal on a1911, and Buds cannot be beat on availability, price, shipping and ease of doing their part of the transaction. Buds is my gun shop. James J

Another slam-dunk from Tisas! I own several other Tisas 1911s, but this was my first 10mm. Like all the other 1911s from Tisas, the D10 runs great! I've shot several hundred rounds thru it from 5 different ammo manufactures and all run the gun 100%. The fit and finish are very nice, but not comparable to a $1200 gun. The gun is an outstanding value for the price! If you're looking for a solid performing 10mm 1911, and don't want to spend a bundle for a good shooting gun, check out the D10. You won't be disappointed.

Great gun, well worth the money

Fit and finish on this pistol is awesome, slide to frame fit incredibly tight. So far I have put a couple hundred rounds of FP and HP ammo through it with no failures. Sights were close to the point of impact from the box, raised the rear sight a couple clicks to hit dead on. This pistol would be a bargain at twice the price!

Bought this on a Friday, received it on a Wednesday. Bud's was fast with the shipping. Gun looks even better in person. Love the looks and feel. Put 100 rounds in through it. No failures. Love this gun.
