Very fun and convenient. Plenty of room for accessories. Compact and easy to fold/unfold. Since it uses Glock mags it's very easy to find extra magazines in different capacities.

Been wanting a KalTec for some time. Love it folding aspect is so cool. I have the 9mm with 6- 33 round magazines. Light to carry easy to shot.

Overall a good buy. There's some aftermarket parts I'm going to be adding to make it better but it's pretty good out of the box. Only real complaint is that didn't come with sights but they're cheap enough, so it wasn't a deal breaker. For the price it's worth it.

Love this gun. It is much nicer than the original Sub 2000. I used the e-check option, but was surprised about the delay in shipping. The gun arrived at my FFL in perfect condition. I added a small Vortex red dot sight and took it to the range the next morning. I sighted in the red dot and was soon knocking the center out of my target at 25 yards with ease. I had no issues of any kind. The gun ran perfectly. My wife was next to give this gun a try. She was shooting at broken pieces of clay birds on the 25 yard berm and hitting them with not trouble at all. She declared this to be her new favorite gun to shoot. Very minimal recoil, but I added a recoil pad from Amazon, which slipped right on and now there is just a tiny hint of recoil. The metal trigger is a big improvement over the plastic trigger of the earlier Sub2000 generations. The gun easily folds up, thanks to the rotating forend, which allows the optic to move to side and the gun to completely fold. Overall I’m very happy and satisfied with gun. I highly recommend it. Bud’s is great to deal with too!👍👍

Nice product. The absence of optics is a plus allowing addition of upgraded optics. Good groupings at 50 & 100 yards. Buds as always had very fast shipping and great prices.

Fun range gun. Definitely not a self defense weapon but the sub 2000 is a great gun for family outings at the range. We have 2 of these and equipped both with the cheapest holosun red dots and crazy accurate. Low recoil and kiddos love the family competition playing battleship target games. Would be a great home defense or truck gun do to the folding stock but the reliability and jam issues with both of mine is why they’re just for fun at the range.

I initially ran a few clean wipes through the barrel and it was a bit black. I shot a few rounds without adding any sights yet so for now I can say it fires without issues and it's easy and fun to shoot. I was expecting more recoil as some mentioned needed better padding but no such issue for me. It folds easily and compact enough to fit in a laptop bag (a larger size as it won't fit in a 14" bag). The attachment in the stock is wide so my small clip on my sling won't go around and I need to install a front clip for attachment of the sling. I know this is basic and didn't expect attachments like this or sights, although basic iron sights would have been nice. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and Bud's made the process super easy, as usual.

Quick delivery, as described. Had never seen one in person so went off Buds and YouTubes assessment. Neat little outfit, mounted an old 4x scope on it. Pretty accurate, able to make hits on paper plate out to 50 yards also an 8x8 steel at a 100. Never had a jamb or a hiccup, worked flawlessly. Only issue I have is the mag that came with it was dirty and appeared to be used but aside from that it’s great.

When I unboxed the gun, it was pretty dirty with cardboard dust all over. Wanted to test it out on the day I picked it up at the range I had it shipped to but given its condition at the time I decided to bring it home and give it a good clean. The gun didn't have a built-in iron sight so you may have to buy one separately or get a red dot for it, which is what I did. It also offers the ability to be folded with the sight on with its ability to twist the upper receiver sideways when folding which is a significant improvement comparing to its last 2 versions. After shooting my first 100rds with it, I can honestly say it shoots as well as you would expect it. Recoil is manageable given that you are shooting 9mms with a rifle. Had 2 or 3 failure-to-ejects after about 80 rounds in. I looked up online and see if others had experienced this issue and it seems like it is due to how you hold the gun, some even say it might be because of the PMAG that comes with the gun. I will give it another try and see if there are any improvements. All in all, the Sub2000 Gen 3 is a good budget gun with great carrying potential thanks to its folding feature and I enjoy shooting it since the gen 2 version. Would definitely recommend

I love it. So does my 11yo son. I actually will pass this one on to him and get another for myself for us to carry camping and hiking in our packs. I also added a 3D printed dust cover for when I'm carrying it folded/in a backpack, etc.

I bought this because of its folding feature. And also because it uses Glock type magazines. Now that I have had it for awhile and shot it. It's a whole lot of fun to shoot. 😁 I like it and I'm really impressed. I put a "red dot", type optic on it. I have shot great groups at 75 feet. When folded it is very compact and easy to throw into your vehicle, a backpack for camp/hiking, etc. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This Kel-Tec was the gun for me. It uses my Glock 15&17 mags. That is 162 rounds loaded into mags. The threaded barrel allows me to use my suppressor so easily. I took it to the range in my NRA backpack. When folded the weapon is 16 inches long, 6.5 inches wide and 4 inches tall at the red dot optic. After the initial sighting in, it was very accurate at 50 yards. It weighs 4 pounds empty and is so much fun to shoot. Cycles through every shot without fail. It has become my favorite gun.
