The Beretta 30X Tomcat is a great little gun for conceal carry. The Pros: This gun is great for Seniors or for anybody with weak or limited hand or wrist strength. The Cons: I’m still waiting for an optic plate for a Red Dot Optic. The Beretta company is dragging their feet in producing an optic plate for this Tomcat.

Beretta Tomcat 30, 32 acp, is not only beautiful it shoots where you aim it. My arthritic fingers appreciate the tip up barrel, the crispness of the trigger pull and the light recoil. I liked it so much I bought a second one. Okay, I had to buy a second one because my wife had latched onto the first one I bought. I recommend the Tom cat without reservation.

Took a tad longer to arrive than I'm used to from Bud's but still excellent shipping. Turns out that if I had waited a week I would have been eligible for a $100 discount from Beretta. Would have been nice had Bud's let me know but what the heck. Upon arrival inspection I noted that the barrel was filthy like it had been fired many times. I cleaned it completely and it took bore cleaner and about 10 patches. Barrel did clean up nicely with no sign of damage but patches did have what appeared to be metal dust that sparkled in the normal lead being cleaned off. Fired some 50 rounds at the range from 10 yds. All rounds fired cleanly without incident, jams, stove pipes, etc. Action cycled cleanly after each round. Good groupings. I like the tilt barrel with the 7 plus one and the extended length sites. Also like the double action which means I still have a lot of security against an unplanned discharge but also don't need to rack the slide before getting into action. Action a bit tight thus far but I'm thinking it will loosen up with use. Overall I'm happy with my new little concealed carry that fits nicely in a pocket.

Just over thirty rounds put through this brand new Beretta 30X. It is literally eating itself alive. I DO NOT blame Buds in any way. The purchase and delivery from Buds was great. However, I am greatly disappointed in Beretta. I love other Beretta products but the 30X is garbage. It jammed multiple times within 30 rounds and at least four times it ejected a live round behind/with an empty case during firing. How it managed that I do not know but it is going back to Beretta. I purchased this as an upgrade for my wife's carry. Definitely not an upgrade. I would never trust it to protect her.

great little gun with a silencer!

Well I dont have time to shoot it, but belief me it is all metal, wood stocks, and very beautifull, heavy for its size and wide; Well made and balanced, included 2 magazines of 8 rounds, expensives if you want addittional ones, if you like small conceleable guns, this one is for you.

I really, really like this little gun. This is my third Tomcat, and Beretta has updated everything that irked me about the last generation. The frame, pins, tip-up release, magazine release and trigger have all been generously updated You can’t really tell from photos but the un-blued parts of the pistol have an almost glossy cerakote finish, which nicely contrasts with the rest of the gun. I have more powerful firearms, but this one seems to go with me everywhere. Bud’s, as always, was top notch in getting my little buddy to me!
