The Cerakote finish is very good, the slide fitment is far better than that I’ve experienced in other budget 1911 pistols.

The pistol performed extremely well in my first trip to the range. I shot 250 rounds (FMJ & JHP) & had only one failure - an FMJ round failed to feed.

There are only two issues I had (have) with the pistol: the sights & slide cuts are “Novak style” & the angles don’t match NOVAK sights. The only means of resolving this is to file down the angles on sights or install a red dot.

I installed a red dot realizing I’d need a new case because Tisas, for some reason, sells an optics ready 1911 with a case too small to hold that pistol with a red dot mounted.

I recommend this pistol over other budget 1911’s.
