I love it it’s an awesome firearm

Fantastic firearm overall. Over 1,000 rounds put thought it and not a single malfunction. Great concealed option as I’m 5’9” 150lbs and can conceal this easily with a hoodie appendix carry when weather permits. Grip texturing gives a great feel in the hand but it’s not abrasive. Serrations on the front of the barrel are very “grip-y”. Sights are fantastic esp in low light conditions. Very easy to field strip and clean. As I said before, fantastic overall and highly recommended.

This pistol shoots great, eats through many varying ammo brands. For the money it’s a great piece that’s very accurate.

I had no problems with ordering the XD mod2. The grip is great even with the "grip zone" writen down the side, lol. I haven't had a malfunction yet with a little adjustment it fires spot on. I don't get all the hate towards the XD's the gun has been nothing but reliable definitely recommended if you're thinking about it.

This is a solid pistol. I would recommend.

Love the double safety mechanism that protects against accidental discharge - trigger plastic interlock and index-thumb rounding over-grip plastic lock need to be depressed in combination in order to unlock the trigger.
The recoil makes the barrel jump up a bit after a fire, so the aim has to be a lowered quickly for the next fire if shooting rapidly. Very manageable once you get the spiel.
This is a bit of a bulky handgun, but never jammed in over 500 rounds yet. Doesn't get melting hot under rapid fire either.
Disassembly is very easy and cleaning too.
Would highly recommend for reliability and ease of use.

New shooter, first handgun. So far its been a great gun. Easy and lots of fun to shoot. Big enough to feel comfortable in my hand, but small enough to carry. Simple to break down for cleaning. Buds' made the transaction easy and fast. Will always recommend Bud's, and will (and have) shop from them again.

Buds service was great! The pistol was packaged in a nice hard case and included everything I expected.

Ordered this beauty and it was delivered quickly and within the claims that Buds made. I had to drive a bit to the store but was on my way to a business meeting so it was very convenient. I arrived at the store and was assisted quickly. The representative was attentive and ensured I understood the FFL paperwork. He then ensured I checked the firearm for defects or missing items. All was in order and he passed me to background check and I may have waited 15 minutes then I was out the door.
Buds was an inviting store with many accessories and plenty of room to wander around. If I’d had a little more time I would have enjoyed the range as well.

New gun owner, and this is my first...probably not my last....so take it for what it's worth. I have only ~100 rounds or so with instructor...but do far, zero issues. Initial purchase was for hime defense...but, I have taken a liking to target shooting at the range, and will likely purchase another handgun down the road. I chose b/t Glock, Sig, and S&W, Springfield, and Walther based on advice from a friend...wanted the Glock, but there was no stock, so I went with the Springfield cuz of the added safety of the grip safety, and the overall look and of course price. All the above manufacturers seem to have strong support and following, and now I am one for Springfield. I am looking down the road for a Glock 17 or possibly a 1911 by Springfield as well as who knows. This gun world is got a lot going on, and I've already spent way too much on accessories, ammo, bags, ear/eye ppe, and I'm very interested in sight optics, and lasers, etc. The plan is to get at least 500 rounds through this XD mod2 which I love, and then see where we're at. Also - just field srtipped and CLP cleaned today...I wish I could provide more on the actual gun itself, but it's my first one, so not sure I'm experienced enough to warrant any validity.

No question about it...this is a great 9mm pistol. Happy I went with this one!

I ordered on 6-23 and picked up at my local shop three days later. The XD Mod.2 came with a nice hard plastic case and two 16+1 clips. This gun is a beauty. Fits great in my hand (I'm 6'2) and has nice weight to it. Can't wait to get it out to the range. This was the first gun that I've purchased from Buds and won't be the last. Thanks

New gun owner, bought this pistol for my EDC mainly due to the grip safety as well as the color scheme which I love. So far, I’ve put 250 rounds through it and had no issues.

Great gun at a great price. My wife and oldest daughter like to go to the range with the xd. I will be buying one for each of them.Only complaint is how long it takes for payment to clear banks and items to ship. Ffl always starts to doubt order it takes so long.
