Bought this to try out the super low recoil and decent penetration it’s known for (yes I know this isn’t a dedicated SD round). This ammo is SMOKY! About 3 rounds in I was in a thick cloud like being surrounded by chain smokers. Other Magtech options have not been so dirty. Would not buy again.

Magtech full wadcutters are an excellent round for my smith j frame recoil is very manageable, I’m using these rounds for both target practice and for my carry ammo. I do recommend then

These are great ammo. Priced great at Buds’s.My 100 year old dad has been using Buds for fifty years. He had to stop going to the range five years ago. He bought all his guns and ammo/ etc there only. Veteran Thank you Buds

These rounds are great, least felt recoil that we have found in a .38 Spl cartridge. Reliable ignition and no noted accuracy concerns.

Best accurate bang for the buck. Very accurate in S&W Model 52 (auto) and PPC guns. Have tried more expensive ammo, but they didn't do better than the Mag.

I enjoy shooting .38 special especially the 148 grain wad cutter ammo. The Magtech ammo is an excellent and reliable round. Especially great for target practice and accuracy. Excellent value for the money.

Good home defense round. Lots of online ballistics testing of this round in particular and it stands right up there with others you wouldn't think it would match in penetration and better than many in mushrooming. I certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of this round.

38 Special Wadcutter is hard to find. This ammo shot very well in my Colt 38 Super 1911 customized for 38 Special target use. Only one ejection problem in the entire box of 50, which was probably a "limp wrist" error on my part. Good ammo.

Extremely disappointed. Magtech is my go to range ammo in 9mm. Clean shooting and 100% reliable. It made perfect sense for me to purchase these for my new .38 special. I wanted to like these and maybe even use as EDC in my snub nose. Two hard primers that didn’t fire in my first 20 rounds. Defeats the reliability of carrying a revolver.

Great ammo. Mild recoil and muzzle blast. Too soon to tell about accuracy -- still getting used to a new pistol. I will continue to buy the ammo. Extremely fast shipping.
