Very fun out of box without oiling very accurate at 25 yards... However, it did have 2 fail to feed... I will continue to break in and oil and see if helps with feed... I really like this SBR might buy another... Thanks Buds....

awesome 9 mm fun this gun runs very good about 500 rounds in so far not a single jam or misfeed seems to be very accurate. this is a very solid gun. the trigger is so-so but should smooth out with wear the only thing I can find that's not quite right is the hand guard's rail is slightly lower than the receivers rail but that just don't seem to matter this is not a 1000 yard gun you cant go wrong with this you will be happy.

I've had this firearm for years now, never had a problem with mine.

Received newer gen model versus what was advertised on the website photos. Different handrail. Furthermore, it shipped with a different magazine than pictured (ETS). Buyers beware!! I made the mistake of expecting some good customer service when I requested they at least send the pmag style magazine as shown. I was basically told that they use stock photos, that I didn’t do my research, and that it was not their problem. Nonetheless, the firearm is amazing and performs like a dream. Shipping was fast too.

Gun has been flawless. Been excellent with suppressor.

Good feel and easy to swap out parts

Great shooting and high quality gun! I really like the look and feel of it. Buds did a great job through the whole buying process. Two small downsides, the first was I thought, per the descriptions and pictures I was getting a black magazine (which I wanted) but it came with a clear one. No real big deal. Second is that the top rail on the gun, not the Midwest fore grip was a little taller so my magpul sites had to be shaved down a little to fit.

Hands down, the most fun gun I have ever shot. Put the Romeo5 sight on it, purchased the 50 round drum and my buddy and I went to the range, and I just couldn’t put this gun down. Put roughly 500 rounds through it, no jams, misfeeds or anything. I was a little concerned about the 8 inch barrel being too short. But no, it’s perfect. I highly highly recommend this gun, it is worth every penny. Was hitting steel target at 75 yards all day, insanely accurate for such a small barrel.

First off, Bud's hit it out of the park once again with their quick and awesome customer service. The FX-9 is a must have for anyone looking for a 9mm carbine; absolute tack driver. Well built gun, which is well worth the price.

I can only rate the service from Bud's as I have not been able to take this firearm to the range. The service was fantastic, as is the norm with Bud's. I already own the FX9-4 and that is a fantastic weapon to shoot. It was perfect out-of-the-box, with just a quick patch down the barrel and a bit of oil on the bolt. I ate my way through 200+ rounds on the first day with ZERO issues. I can't wait to test out this version.

Fun little pistol, my only gripe is that the tolerances are very poor and the upper and lower wiggle a lot causing a lot of jams.

Good gun exactly is advertise be careful when selecting magazines because some of them can cause them to stovepipe it's not the gun it's the magazines themselves

Gun works well. The mag received is not black as shown in the picture. It’s more translucent and really doesn’t go well with the firearm..makes it look kind of generic. Ordered some black ones which look so much better.

Good gun so far. About 600 rounds through it and had a ton of jams with blazer but only one or two with remington (which is what I mostly use). Also have issues with the slide not locking back which I've heard is common with AR9s. Overall really great gun very fun to shoot.

First time Bud's order. Everything was smooth and received quickly. FFL transfer/pick-up was a breeze. I will definitely shop here again!
Now on to the weapon. This is affordable to own. This came in a standard cardboard box. The one I received did not come with picatinny rail on the bottom of the hand guard as pictured (currently). It does have an M-Lok hand guard and a front to back top rail. This came with one SGM (Korean/Polymer material) 33 round magazine. I ordered two 15-round Glock OEM mags and two 33 round Glock OEM double-stack funsticks. I slapped a reflex sight, AFG and went to shoot AFTER an initial cleaning/lubrication. As per Freedom Ordnance instructions (nice , 115 grain, brass FMJ is the recommended ammo. I tried 147 grain Blazer; 115 gr. Remington and 115 gr. Winchester. I experienced Failure To Feed multiple times with the 147 grain (nose dive jam). The ammo was in the SGM mag. Then I tried the 15 round Glock mags and experienced the same thing. I experienced FTF with Remington as well in both types of mags. When the weapon was able to fire, the 147 was nice and a clear punch compared to the 115 grain.
In short, I discovered the cheap round nose Winchester 115 gr. 9mm ammo worked best for me in Glock magazines. I also discovered the charging handle likes it rough. No gentle slide the round into the chamber. I now experience much less FTF issues (just every once in awhile). This gun is so fun to shoot. 15 or 33 rounds is great. Accurate (when sighted) and easy to handle (family friendly). This purchase was for home defense and plinking. It's my first PCC and "AR-style" weapon but its easy to learn and maintain. I plan to keep one in the chamber for home defense purposes.
Overall, I give Freedom Ordnance's FX-9 (8") a 4/5 stars. This is a keeper. I love this gun. Thanks, Buds!

this is an awesome 9mm pistol, after sighting this firearm with my Tacticon red dot, which has 4 different optic choices and in green, at 15 yards, i was making 2 inch
groups, keep in mind this is my first ar style pistol so i'm only going to get better. The ease of shooting this makes it so fun to shoot. Taking any size glock mags is a plus.

This is a fun gun to shoot. Extremely accurate, put around 800 rounds through it this weekend with no jams. Buds service was excellent, my FFL dealer had it in 4 days.

This is an awesome pistol carbine for the price! Out of the box put 100 rounds through it using three different magazines and only had two failure to feeds. Used a trs-25 red dot and it is very accurate. Fun gun!

Love this gun. I shoot with my kids once a month and they enjoy shooting it as well. Of course as always Buds Guns helped through the entire transfer of the gun. Just bought a 300 Blackout from Buds this morning. Thanks Amanda for your great customer service and answering my questions.
