Always very satisfied with my Bud's purchases. My Ruger GP!00 3" was just a tank to carry around and the Ruger SP101 also felt large and heavy and I wanted something smaller and more concealable. After attending gun shows and handling everything from pistols to revolvers I came across Charter Arms snub nose revolvers, it felt good in my hand. On their website they have different grips and finishes I chose the 2" Hi-Polish and to my surprise they came with the upgraded checkered rosewood grips at no extra charge. The finish is mirror bright and the construction is excellent with tight lockup. There are all sorts of holsters available also. You won't be disappointed.

This little revolver looks amazing. I have taken it out and put 50rds through it. It does exactly what you would think a little revolver would do. It is pretty accurate at 10yards. It does have a good bit of recoil but it is a little 2 inch barrel so that's too be expected. I love it

have a charter arms that I bought in 1994, polished black almost the same as this one, (of course back then it only cost $170) I wanted this one to add to the collection, 170 rounds without problems so far, D/A fabulous, S/A super fabulous, the grip is small, but it maintains the classic , nice revolver, Buds as always great

Nice revolver for the price i did have to tighten all the screws and and grip. Wanted something i didnt mind beating up. I still trust my smith and wesson more for reliability.

Buds service gets five stars. Many years. Many purchases. Never a problem. Until this purchase. The good. Pistol metal work looks better than expected. However, I noticed one grip panel not fitted nearly flush to the frame. A good 1/8th inch gap in fact. Shot the pistol today. At least 10 light primer strikes. Discovered upon pistol disassembly, the gap in the grip panel is caused by the hammer spring. The hammer spring protrudes and rides against the grip. The grip panel needs material removed so the hammer spring has free movement. Not sure how this pistol left the factory like this. Poor quality control. I'm not a wood worker. If you're not, maybe this project of a pistol isn't for you either.

As always buds is flawless to deal with, I’ve bought from them many times. I really like the charter arms undercover. It’s not a smith or a colt. But it is a classic quality made piece that I won’t be afraid to knock around, or get scuffed, like I would if it cost what a smith or colt does. It feels more solid than my Taurus 905, and the double action is better.

Charter never has disappointed myself they are a truly timeless firearm and the newest is outstanding, sure here how it does not do this or that but in the final need they always come thru. A very nice handgun to me. And as always Budd's came thru with another winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no problem with my FFL or shipping all was good. Thanks to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great little revolver. There are a few areas on the high polis finish that could have been better. Think that if you read other reviews you will see that is not abnormal for this gun. Overall I’m pleased. I wanted something a little retro.

Basically got this one for the beauty of it. The gravy on top is that this baby is fun to shoot.

Very nice looking revolver that fits discreetly in my pocket. Seems well built and I’ve had no issues with it being reliable. I have large hands and it doesn’t feel very comfortable but it’s expected from a small gun. Quality revolver that is easily concealable

I have a soft spot for Charter Arms, as a Stratford Conn Undercover was my first CCW in the 1970s. That revolver, with its honest bluing wear, now holds a place of honor in my safe. The polished stainless Undercover, with its classic slim walnut grips, is beautiful. Recoil with +P's using those grips is not particularly comfortable, so this snubbie falls into the "carry a lot, shoot a little" category. Who was it that said, your handgun should be comforting, not necessarily comfortable. Believe me, you won't notice the recoil of a double tap, while it's saving your life. I have numerous Colts and Smith's in my collection, but CA is what protects me. Thanks, Buds, for the excellent service!

Admittedly, I purchased this revolver more for the classic look (grips and polish) than anything else. Yet, this gun has shown reliability and accuracy enough for conceal carry. This .38 is truly compact and easily (and comfortably) concealed. The action is smooth and the weight comfortable. Buds service and price was excellent. I would recommend this Charter Arms Undercover to other Buds customers.

I really like this little revolver. It came in a foam lined plastic box. It was just a little dirty. There is a tiny imperfection in the finish that I didn't notice when I picked it up. It doesn't seem to be rust or corrosion. It is very small but it's there. Mechanically it locks up tight and the cylinder doesn't bind after about 75 rounds without cleaning. The trigger pull doesn't seem quite as smooth as my old Model 19 but better than a Taurus or Rossi, in my experience. I've only fired about 75 rounds through it so far, a mix of Federal 158 gr LRN and 130 gr FMJ. It shot nice groups but everything was to the left. That's probably something I'm doing since this is my first revolver in 20 years. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. The value of this gun is higher than the price tag. In other words it's a good deal, in my opinion.

This revolver is amazing! I own snub nosed revolvers from Colt, S&W and Ruger and this Charter Arms Undercover is as good if not better than any of those. The finish is unbelievable. The trigger in both DA and SA is as smooth as can be. This is the fifth and finest of all of the Charter Arms revolvers I own. Buds was great as always.

Very nice pistol for the money, nice to see someone making a classic style snub is. Now make a nice high gloss blued Version and I’ll have a sweet pair of old school revolvers.
