This thing is a joy to shoot! I changed the grips to hogue and the front sight to a green fiber from Dawson.

Sure was glad to see this Ruger model #1770 come back in stock after a “long” wait. The 5” barrel seems to me the perfect length to balance this 38 oz. Revolver using 44 special 240 grain ammo. Recoil is minimal as expected and the gun is consistently accurate depending on the shooter of course. Fit, finish and function are impeccable, they did a really nice job with this revolver. Nothing like blue steel and walnut in 44 caliber to hook an old timer like myself. I’m sure Jeff Quinn is somewhere smilin’ right now. Better get ya one before they’re out of stock again!
