really no differences the CA DOJ list is a way for CA to restrict what their resident can own and force the manafactures to pay more to CA to be allowed to sell there (Politics and money)
In general, no differences on the pistols. The pistols that are currently on the Roster are grand fathered. It's the new requirements that makes getting nearly identical models added to the Roster (which is silly). There can be no change to the pistol not even color or it has to be re-certified. The cost to manufacturers and the hoops to jump through to get pistols on this CA Roster (which is exactly what CA wants) is causing this roster to shrink. Many manufacturers simply don't bother.
As a whole our 4+ million customer's know more about firearms than we do. If you have a general question about a product we highly recommend that you first try out our customer Q&A feature. More often than not you will receive multiple answers to your question in minutes.

HI Trevor, No differences I own the Ca model. It has everything that the other does. It's just California is gradually taking our rights to own firearms. We will never see any newer models either except in revolvers.
