Surprisingly enough, they are legal in Connecticut. They are not considered "assault weapons" by the State Government. You can verify by calling The Gun Store in Waterbury CT at 203-528-3690 and ask. If you go to their website ( http://thegunstorellc.com/ ), they have them for purchase and they are on display in the website pictures. I personally liked Hoffmans. Always enjoyed the range there. They would be able to verify that the Shockwave could be purchased/owned in Connecticut as well.
Oh, and Gov Dan Malloy (D) is a scumbag on an epic scale.
