Can you put a buffer tube on this to make it an SBR?

Yes it could be done but it would take alot of work. Like James stated The receiver is closed and would have to be opened up to even accept a stock. The rear trunion that comes on a this pistol is questionable strength wise as it's configured for no stock . The trouble is that it also does not come with the attachment point for a stock. You have to replace it, which involves some cutting and welding. It would be less expensive to purchase an AK pistol with a brace to convert to sbr or purchase an sbr outright.
