  • I would like to hear from anyone that actually owns this firearm. Once the slide is removed how is the non- captured full length guide rod and bull barrel removed from the slide? The plastic piece at the muzzle is peculiar to this model and seems to be the problem, making it impossible for me to clear the guide rod over the barrel link

  • Rack the slide back and see if there is a .065" hole through the guide rod. If there is straighten out a paper clip and put a 90 degree bend in it about .100 long and stick it in this hole. Then remove the slide and you should be able to remove the guide rod and spring as a unit.
