ruger did away with the key lock years ago
This has been standard practice Jim by Ruger, Taurus and others. Taurus got rid of it in the G2C and I believe Ruger did the same with the LC9S Pro up above. You should confirm with Ruger at Telephone: 336-949-5200 (Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm ET).
