Does anyone know what type of wood is used for the stock and forend? Thanks

Joshua, the "Stock and Forend" are made of Hard Wood. Since Mossberg does not list the specific type, I would contact them at Tel: (203) 230-5300 | 8:00am-4:30pm Eastern or by email inquiry at mossberg.com/contact-us/
