foster type slugs should be used in any smoothbore shotgun the sabot slugs are made for the rifled barrels some spreader chokes have a slight amount of rifling to spin the plastic wad and throw the shot out (centrifugal force) some spreaders are a reverse constriction (more open than the barrel) the reverse chokes will be good with slugs.

Mark, yes Sir. With the "Spreader" Choke, I would recommend "Foster" Type Slugs for best accuracy (low recoil for home defense and regular for hunting) : budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/60353/brenneke+12+ga+2+3%2f4%22+1+oz+tactical+home+defense+slugs ------- budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/713073185/brenneke+usa+12ga+ko+slug

yes slugs can be used with no issues you may need to change out the Trulock spreader chokes and try a IC choke if you have accuracy issues (I am not sure how they did their spreader choke) the spreader chokes will be safe but may not give the best accuracy but try them 1st before other chokes
