Can I single load - without magazine in rifle - the Ruger 77/357 and 77/44 rifles?

yes you can by placing the round in the chamber (may have to point barrel down) and then closing the bolt

Tim, yes Sir you can. You won't have any issues with these straight walled cartridges.
