I have read a few articles where some owners of the pc9 have had problems with the extractors not functioning after a while. Has anyone experienced this issue or has Ruger taken care of the newer models?

Frederick, Ruger has addressed the issue with newer models. This is a recent model and reviews are excellent even with various brands of steel and brass case ammunition. I would stick with brass cased ammo personally.
