Does the HMR mean hornady magnum rimfire like the 17hmr?
Wayne, "Hunting and Match Rifle" (It is chambered in Center-fire Rifle Rounds - Full specs and details here : bergara.online/us/rifles/b14/hmr-rifle/
This is not a Hornady product. It has nothing to do with rimfire. It just happens to have the same abbreviation, but have different meanings. The HMR means Hunting Match Rifle. I had this rifle and another configuration of it and let me tell you. You will not regret this rifle, unless you’re looking for some kind of specific setup you prefer. Off topic, but just thought I’d let you know. It’s not as heavy as many precision rifles and not as light as some hunting rifles. It’s basically a hybrid in my eyes.
