Hello, I have many rounds of +P+ loads from both Buffalo Bore and Underwood. I bought them for a Ruger Redhawk that I had to part with.
With this revolver handle these rounds?
Thanks!

Rodney, the ammo you listed isn't listed as safe with the gun by Buffalo Bore. --------------------
Quote from the above linked ammo:
This new load is designed for only certain revolvers that have the cylinder length to handle it. They are as follows; Ruger Red Hawk, Ruger Super Red Hawk, Ruger Super Blackhawk or Vaquero, Freedom Arms Model 83, Taurus Raging Bull, Colt Anaconda and Dan Wesson Revolvers.... --------------------
The M44 is Taurus's old large frame gun. I usually classify it's strength as on the same level as a Smith 629. -------------------
Buffalo Bore has loads that would work about as well (your hit under stress will probably matter more) and will be safer to fire in your revolver. - 305gr hard cast flat nose: buffalobore.com/index.php...ct_detail&p=49
300gr JFN buffalobore.com/index.php...ct_detail&p=50 This one says it will have some expansion. -------------------------
It's your choice what you feed your guns but if you damage your gun with overly hot or long loads and try to ship it in for warranty work Taurus may or may not honor the warranty.
