  • I own a sw model 29. The recoil when shooting 44 mag rounds can be a bit heavy. Can anyone tell me what the recoil on the beautiful rifle is like? Thanks.

  • It is going to be considerably less, as James mentioned the weight of the rifle will tame a good bit of recoil, a good amount of that weight being in the barrel ain't gonna hurt none either, that its a rifle will also make it more manageable, in a rifle you are going to have multiple points of contact with the Gun (Trigger hand, Stock into shoulder, and support hand on the foregrip) I've not shot a 44mag rifle, but I've shot 357 back to back out of a revolver then a rifle and it is much more smooth out of a rifle

  • Scott, perceived recoil will be less than half due to the rifles weight Sir. Cheers and stay safe!
